From the Great Treasure of Lodrö Tarjay TD201, from the 'Heart Essence Gathering of Mind Practice', this is the beginning of the written record of the essential extraction cutting practice from among the five secret instruction stages. Ra Ling's Mind Practice, Cutting Practice. From the 'Heart Essence Gathering of Mind Practice', this is the beginning of the written record of the essential extraction cutting practice from among the five secret instruction stages. Ra Ling's Mind Practice, Cutting Practice. (Auspicious symbol) From the 'Heart Essence Gathering of Mind Practice', this is the beginning of the written record of the essential extraction cutting practice from among the five secret instruction stages. The great glorious Heruka (藏文:ཧེ་རུ་ཀ,Heruka, wrathful deity) who subdues the four maras, Karma Thötreng Tsal (藏文:ཀརྨ་ཐོད་ཕྲེང་རྩལ།,meaning 'Skull Garland Power'), I prostrate to you! For the benefit of myself and others like me, The profound Dharma, the 'Heart Essence Gathering of Mind Practice', The supplementary methods for the essential extraction cutting practice are written here. May the Dharma protectors, treasure guardians, and Dakinis grant their blessings, And bestow blessings and siddhis with loving compassion. Therefore, a yogi who has received the empowerment of the Mind Practice, whether extensive, intermediate, or concise, and has practiced the three lineages of body, speech, and mind, or each individually, or the recitation of the all-encompassing wish-fulfilling jewel, the five secret instruction stages, or a yogi who has gained certainty in the generation and completion stages of the Mind Practice, in order to extract their own conceptual thoughts, or for the benefit of other beings to be tamed, should perform the cutting practice in a dangerous place: First, it is crucial to keep secret the place one intends to go, do not say 'I am going here'. If it is rushed, it should be kept secret until the power of subjugating the influence is complete. The subjugation of influence is: Phat (藏文:ཕཊཿ,梵文天城体:फट्,梵文罗马拟音:phaṭ,Crushing), visualize oneself as a dark blue wrathful yogini, from whose heart emanates a vajra (thunderbolt scepter) of meteoric iron as large as a mountain, which goes like a shot arrow, striking the dangerous place, causing the entire ground to shatter like a overturned bowl of tsampa (roasted barley flour). Mountains collapse, oceans churn, everything is destroyed, roads are blocked, and rocks and cliffs are all crushed into dust. Then, the vajra completely transforms, becoming nine dark blue wrathful mothers, guarding from the eight directions and the center, making it impossible for all gods and demons to move. Also, to subjugate influence in an unfamiliar place: visualize oneself as a dark blue sow-faced mother, from whose heart emanates a nine-pointed iron vajra, causing the place to shatter like an overturned bowl of tsampa. Phat (藏文:ཕཊཿ,梵文天城体:फट्,梵文罗马拟音:phaṭ,Crushing), it completely transforms, becoming a warrior Dakini, behind which is a tent of black people holding hands, behind which is a dark tent, visualizing that all gods and demons cannot move. Then, when going from home to the door, Phat (藏文:ཕཊཿ,梵文天城体:फट्,梵文罗马拟音:phaṭ,Crushing), visualize the lama and Karma Thötreng Tsal above one's head, with the demons of the body and the demons of the place as the main ones, all sentient beings --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

May all beings be established in the state of Buddhahood. Therefore, generate the intention to go to a solitary, secluded place, and visualize offering your body, possessions, authority, and power to Karma Thötreng Tsal. Also, make supplications. Then, visualize this body as a corpse, your consciousness as the one carrying the corpse, the solitary place as a charnel ground, and the gods and demons as birds and wild animals. Proceed until you see the landmark of the solitary place. Upon seeing the landmark, recite 'ཕཊཿ' (Tibetan, phaṭ, Phat, 'to cut through'). Transform yourself into a solitary red Jetsunma (Noble Lady). By playing the thighbone flute with a 'ཚག་ཚག་' (Tibetan, tsag tsag, Tsag Tsag, onomatopoeia) sound, cause all the gods and demons to tremble and shake. Visualize all the gods and demons on the path gathering involuntarily and circling around you. Proceed without distraction. If you encounter a landmark such as water, a tree, a corner of a rock, or a bat on the path, recite 'ཕཊཿ' (Tibetan, phaṭ, Phat, 'to cut through'), and continue until you reach the solitary place. This is both the means of subduing the power of the path and tormenting the sentries. Having arrived at the solitary place, dissolve the wrathful goddess of time, Dukyi Khroma, into yourself. Recite 'ཕཊཿ' (Tibetan, phaṭ, Phat, 'to cut through'), and visualize the eight black Kandro (Dakini) of the directions guarding as before, so that all the gods and demons of that place and those brought from the path have no power to go anywhere. Recite 'ཕཊཿ' (Tibetan, phaṭ, Phat, 'to cut through') and blow the thighbone trumpet. Regarding clarifying the 'eye' of the solitary place: the source of a single spring; the middle of two springs; the confluence of three or more springs; the dry area in the center of nine or more countless springs; a place resembling an umbrella, victory banner, jewel, or the top of a stupa; the center resembling a lotus, a glorious knot, or a conch shell cave; the center of many sacred places and medicinal herbs; the confluence of three valleys and three ridges; the threshold of a haunted house, temple treasury; the storehouse door of a ruined house; the base of a castle; the bend and confluence of a river; the center of a lake; the top of a hill; the center of a large plain, crossroads, or market; the heart-like place where a bird, person, or frog seems to be running upwards; the crown of an elephant; the mane of a lion; the horns of livestock; the sparse area of a dense forest; the dense area of a sparse place. In short, that place is important and has attachment, like a human heart, and is suitable for dwelling. The tip of a livestock's horn or the tooth of a wild animal is not suitable for dwelling. If it is a large solitary place, the Chöpa (one who practices Chöd) should reside in the center of the solitary place. Next, a patient should be placed in one solitary place. Again, a kitchen should be set up in one solitary place. It is important that the patient and the Chöpa are close. If it is a small solitary place, the patient should be placed in the solitary place, next the Chöd practice should be performed in the solitary place, and again, the kitchen should be set up. If the landmark of the solitary place is not found, or if it is covered by fog and cannot be found, recite 'ཕཊཿ' (Tibetan, phaṭ, Phat, 'to cut through'), and transform yourself into a dark blue Pig-faced Mother (Phagmo). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
