Then, accompanied by music, recite the seven-line prayer, as well as the mantras of descent and invitation. Visualize the continuous flow of blessings from the wisdom beings. Recite 'Tisṭha Vajra' (Tibetan: ཏིཥྛ་བཛྲ, Sanskrit Devanagari: तिष्ठ वज्र, Sanskrit Romanization: tiṣṭha vajra, Literal Chinese meaning: Remain Vajra), placing the vajra on the head. Visualize the removal of the veils of ignorance, revealing the mandala of self-arisen wisdom. 'Welcome, noble son, you are fortunate! I have removed the veil of ignorance, shown the mandala of the three roots, and steadfastly protect the samaya.' Having said this, remove the veil. Hūṃ! The samayas of body, speech, and mind, as established here and now, do not abandon even at the cost of your life, and always protect all the limbs. Samaya Raksha Hūṃ! (Tibetan: ས་མ་ཡ་རཀྵ་ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: समय रक्ष हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: samaya rakṣa hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Samaya, protect, Hūṃ!)' After reciting, give the samaya water. Thinking that as you have said, I will protect the samayas as instructed, then repeat these words. 'Hūṃ! Kind vajra master, I will act according to your instructions, protect the samayas, always hold me with compassion, and please bless me! Samaya Nara Kana! (Tibetan: ས་མ་ཡ་ན་ར་ཀན, Sanskrit Devanagari: समयनरकन, Sanskrit Romanization: samayanarakaṇa, Literal Chinese meaning: Samaya hell)' Have him recite. Then, to request the actual benefit of the empowerment, offer the mandala. Recite this prayer: 'In the ocean of samsaric mire, I am drowning, without refuge, please protect me! Please completely bestow the four empowerments, and grant the supreme siddhi!' Repeat three times. In the actual empowerment, these five empowerments, such as the vase empowerment, each divided into four parts, empowering in twenty ways, making it the nature of bodhi. Therefore, please focus your mind on the words and meanings appropriate to each stage, and generate certainty. Take the vase and recite: 'Hūṃ! The vase is round, the dharmakaya is unborn; the substance of the vase, this bodhicitta is unceasing; the water of unborn and unceasing bodhicitta, washes away the habitual tendencies of grasping and clinging; purify the habitual tendencies of karma and kleshas, may you receive the empowerment of complete four wisdoms!' The end of the root mantra. Recite 'Abhiśiñca Om Aḥ Huṃ Hrīḥ' (Tibetan: ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་ཧྲཱི, Sanskrit Devanagari: अभिषिञ्च ॐ आः हुं ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: abhiṣiñca oṃ āḥ hūṃ hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Anoint, Om, Ah, Hum, Hrih), place it on the head and sprinkle vase water. Again, reciting the mantra, place it on the throat, and then pour vase water. Place it on the heart, like this, placing the vase on the head and bathing is the vase empowerment, placing it on the throat and giving vase water is the secret empowerment, placing it on the heart and introducing the words and meanings is: in the round vase symbolizing the unborn dharmakaya, filled with the stream of unceasing bodhicitta, through the empowerment, knowing that the stains of grasping and clinging are purified is the empowerment of wisdom wisdom, equally abiding in the nature of non-dual union of clarity and emptiness is the fourth empowerment, that is, the first empowerment relying on the vase.
