The Great Treasure of the Mandala, TD93, entitled 'Essence of the Vidyadhara's Heart Drop,' is the root ripening empowerment from the Seven Profound Practices of the Mind-Essence Lineage of the Lord and his Sons, compiled for easy reading. Shigling's Seven Profound Practices, Root Empowerment. Namo guru deva ḍākinī ye (Tibetan: ན་མོ་གུ་རུ་དེ་བ་ཌཱ་ཀི་ནཱི་ཡཻ, Sanskrit Devanagari: नमो गुरु देव डाकिनी ये, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: namo guru deva ḍākinī ye, Literal Chinese meaning: Homage to the guru, deva, ḍākinī). In the wisdom space of the all-pervading Lama, May the stars of the peaceful and wrathful deities, empty of appearance, shine forth. From the clouds of the ḍākinīs, may the rain of desired needs fall. I pray that you nurture the sprouts of beings' maturation and liberation. The unequaled profound treasure possessing four liberations, The essence of the profound Dharma, the treasure-holder, the lord of dance, Although widely known, it is as if hidden from all. May it be revealed here only to those with faith. To accomplish the root ripening empowerment known as the Seven Profound Practices of the Heart-Essence, there are three parts: preliminaries, main practice, and concluding activities. First, the preliminaries: In a secluded place, on a clean platform, draw chak-chaks (small clay figures) with jewels and vermilion. Draw a mandala of six lotus petals, with the center red, the east blue, the south yellow, the west red, the north green, the southwest blue, and the northeast red. Place on it a vase with various ribbons tied around its neck, filled two-thirds with fragrant water and vase substances. Insert a tsakali (painted image) that collectively contains the images of the seven deities into the opening of the vase. Behind it, place an ornate torma with a silk umbrella. In front, place a skull cup filled with alcohol and amrita, covered with a mirror smeared with vermilion, on which is drawn a dharmodaya, with the heart mantras of the deities drawn on the six lotus petals in the center. If one cannot draw all of them, draw hrīḥ (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hrih) in the center, south, and northeast; hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) in the east, west, and north; and jaṃ (Tibetan: ཛཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: जं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: jaṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Jam) in the southwest. Cover it with vowels and consonants written around the edges, and cover it with a red silk tent, placing the image of the consort. Prepare the tormas for the treasure protectors, the charnel ground mothers, the planets, and Pehar, as well as the conch water and activity vase, arranging them as convenient. Arrange medicinal substances, rakta, water, and the two offerings on the right and left sides of the torma, or arrange them in rows. Prepare the preliminary offerings, feast offerings, samaya substances, etc. Second, first is the practice of the mandala: the treasure revealer himself --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, let's begin the 'Lineage Prayer'. The refuge and bodhicitta, tsog offering, dispelling, blessing, and summoning of activities are performed as usual. Consecrate with the Namkhai Dzö mantra and mudra three times, and issue commands. Establish boundaries, offer blessings, confess, and generate the deity. Visualize the appearance as emptiness. Recite up to 'Visualize the appearance as emptiness'. Visualize Avalokiteśvara (spyan ras gzigs) in white above the crown of the head. The root three faces are white, green, and red. Above that are red, green, and white in that order. Above that are green, white, and red, and above that is a wrathful face. Visualize the superimposed faces of Amitābha (Amitābha). The main hands are in añjali mudra, and below them are two hands on the right and left. The right hand holds a crystal mala and a white lotus, and below that, the right hands hold a vajra, a jewel, a lotus, a hooked knife, etc. The left hands hold a vase, a lasso, an utpala flower, a wheel, and a swastika. The left ten hands hold a topknot, an utpala flower, a pearl mala, a vajra bell, a stupa, a book, and a wheel, standing with both feet on a lotus and moon disc. The sambhogakaya is adorned with thirty-two major marks, beautiful as the full moon. The nirmanakaya has a thousand hands and a thousand eyes, adorned with a deerskin and complete sambhogakaya attire. In the throat is Amitāyus (Tshe dpag med), the central face red, the right white, and the left green. The first of the right hands holds a lotus mala at the heart, and the first of the left hands holds a vase filled with the nectar of life in samadhi mudra. The lower two of the right hands hold a vajra and a jewel, and the lower two of the left hands hold a wheel and a swastika. Adorned with silk and jewels, the feet are in the lotus posture, seated on a lotus, sun, and moon seat in a rainbow of light. In the heart, visualize Akshobhya (Mi 'khrugs pa) in blue, who purifies the lower realms. The two hands touch the earth, holding a vajra in samadhi mudra, complete with sambhogakaya ornaments, blazing with light and rays. Seated in vajra posture on a lotus and moon seat. Below the heart, visualize Vajrakīlaya (rdo rje gro lod) in smoky color, glaring with fierce eyes, bound with the syllable 'Hūṃ' (ཨཱཿ,hūṃ,seed syllable). The hair is upright, the eyebrows and mustache are red, wearing monastic robes, with conch shells in the ears, wet hair on the head, and a necklace hanging down. Holding a vajra kīla, reclining on a tiger skin seat, amidst a fire storm, emanating countless small wrathful deities. In the navel, visualize the ḍākinī (ḍākinī) Simhamukha (lion-faced) in blue, with iron hair standing upright, bared fangs, holding a curved knife, drinking blood from a skull, adorned with skull, snake, and bone ornaments, in the midst of a fire storm, appearing as an illusion of emptiness, standing in a posture of stretching and bending on a lotus and sun seat. In the secret place, visualize the wealth deity (nor bdag) Jambhala (dzam la lha) in brown color, with a wrathful smile, seductive and charming, with a captivating demeanor. The right hand holds an iron hook for subjugation, and the left hand holds a treasure vase filled with wish-fulfilling jewels, standing in a posture of stretching and bending. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
