The Ritual of Peaceful and Wrathful, Self-Liberation of Intention, Called Purifying Sins and Obscurations. Karling Peaceful and Wrathful, Mandala Ritual. The Ritual of Peaceful and Wrathful, Self-Liberation of Intention, Called Purifying Sins and Obscurations. Karling Peaceful and Wrathful, Mandala Ritual. First, prepare the mandala of support. The Ritual of Peaceful and Wrathful, Self-Liberation of Intention, Called Purifying Sins and Obscurations. The Ritual of Peaceful and Wrathful, Self-Liberation of Intention, Called Purifying Sins and Obscurations. I prostrate to the Lama and the glorious Samantabhadra! With the great light of unchanging bliss-wisdom, the Vajradhara destroys the forces of the darkness of the two obscurations. Having paid homage to the Lama Kunsang Peaceful and Wrathful, I will write the ritual for purifying sins and obscurations. Here, the individual who is ripened in their being by the power of the support, and who is a mantra practitioner abiding by their vows and commitments, desires to engage in this profound method of purifying the sins and obscurations of themselves and others, and to become a vessel for accomplishments. In a place that is agreeable and auspicious, having gathered all the necessary materials, First, the mandala of support is to be prepared: On the ground where the mandala is to be made, prepare two tormas, one white and one red, and in front of you, arrange the action vase properly, and recite: Om Vajra Maha Krodha Shri Heruka Hum Phet. Maha Krodheshvari Sattvam. Instantly visualize yourself as Vajra Heruka, and from the Hum at your heart, radiate Ram, Yam, and Kham, burning and purifying the torma. From emptiness, in the action vase, which is complete with characteristics, on a lotus and sun disc, arises Hum, which radiates and gathers, completely transforming into the wrathful nectar swirl, black-green in color, holding a crossed vajra and bell. Touching the vase with the single-pointed vajra mudra, recite: Om Vajra Amrita Kundali Hum, one hundred and eight times. The deity dissolves into light, transforming into the subtle particles of water of the nature of wrath. Sprinkle the water of the action vase, and purify with the preliminary torma, purify with Svabhava. From emptiness, from Bhrum, a precious vessel arises, deep and vast, inside of which the torma is complete with color, smell, taste, and power, and bless it by reciting: Om Ah Hum three times. White Torma: Sdya na pa ti kshe tra pa la ntsa na mah sarba ta tha ga te bhya bi shwa mu khe bhya sarba tha kham ut ga te spha ra na i mam ga ga na kham gri hne dam ba linte sva ha. Dedicate by reciting three times. Whatever gods and nagas abide here, Yakshas, Rakshasas, or other beings, --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For the sake of the mandala, this land, I beseech you to grant. Red Torma (Tibetan: དམར་གཏོར།), Oṃ Sarva Vighnān Namaḥ Sarva Tathāgatebhyo Viśva Mukhebhyaḥ Sarva Thā Khaṃ Udgate Spharaṇa Imaṃ Gagana Khaṃ Gṛhṇe Daṃ Bālintaye Svāhā (Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ सर्व विघ्नान् नमः सर्व तथागतेभ्यो विश्व मुखेभ्यः सर्व था खं उद्गते स्फर ण इ मं गगन खं गृह्णे दं बालिन्त ये स्वाहा, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ sarva vighnān namaḥ sarva tathāgatebhyo viśva mukhebhyaḥ sarva thā khaṃ udgate spharaṇa imaṃ gagana khaṃ gṛhṇe daṃ bālintaye svāhā, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Homage to all obstacles, Homage to all Tathagatas, all faces, everywhere space arises, filling this space, accept this offering, may this become a libation!). Dedicate by reciting three times. Hūṃ! Those who harm body, speech, and mind, Ignorant demons who steal the splendor of offerings, Be satisfied with excellent offerings, Do not stay here, depart elsewhere! Hūṃ Hūṃ Uccaṭa Ya Phaṭ! (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ་ཧཱུྃ་ཨུ་ཙཊྚ་ཡ་ཕཊ།) Expel the obstacles with fierce gestures, and cast the torma (Tibetan: གཏོར་མ་, Sanskrit: Bali, Chinese: 食子) outside. Smear the base of the mandala with cow dung, sprinkle with fragrance and the five ambrosias, draw lines with a thread, and visualize oneself as Vajra Heruka (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་ཧེ་རུ་ཀ་, Sanskrit: Vajra Heruka, Chinese: 金刚饮血尊) in union, and from the union, generate a thread of bodhicitta, transforming into the essence of the five wisdoms. Hand the thread to a companion, and recite: Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ! Oṃ Hūṃ Svā Āṃ Hā! (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ། ཨོཾ་ཧཱུྃ་སྭཱ་ཨཱཾ་ཧཱ།) Draw the eight great lines of heaven and earth. According to the ritual, within the circle of flames, vajras, and charnel grounds, establish a square mandala with four doors, four steps, and four tiers, adorned with lotus circles and umbrellas, resting on various vajras. From the root line, discard the width of one great hall, and within it, draw two equal circles from the center. Then, discard two-thirds of the outer circle inward and draw a circle, and in the center of the central circle, draw five circles. In the second circle, draw a four-spoked wheel, and in the third circle, draw an eight-spoked wheel. Divide the hall in half and hang it in the manner of a double-layered celestial cloth. Visualize the colors as the bodhicitta of the union of the deities, transforming into the minute particles of the five wisdoms. Recite: Oṃ Hūṃ Svā Āṃ Hā! (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཧཱུྃ་སྭཱ་ཨཱཾཿཧཱ།) and bless it. The usage of colors is as follows: the center is a blue base, the center of the five circles is dark blue, the dots and four spokes of the four directions, including the doors of the hall, are in the colors of their respective directions. The four directions of the eight spokes are in their respective colors, and the four corners are in intermediate and half colors. The part above the walls is the same as the usual painting method. In the places of the deities, draw the deity's image, seed syllable (Tibetan: ཡིག་འབྲུ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: बीज अक्षर, Sanskrit Romanization: bīja akṣara, Literal Chinese meaning: seed syllable), attribute, or dots of their respective colors, as appropriate. In the center of the mandala, place a vase filled with essence on a stand, adorned with a mouth ornament and a neck cord. Around the mandala, arrange a string of a hundred or more medicine offerings, tormas (Tibetan: གཏོར་མ་, Sanskrit: Bali, Chinese: 食子), blood offerings, and lamps, and surround it with various offerings such as flowers. In front, place a round and majestic torma (Tibetan: གཏོར་མ་, Sanskrit: Bali, Chinese: 食子) for the four activities of pacifying, increasing, magnetizing, and wrathful, cut with a hooked knife, and on the left and right, place the common and uncommon protector tormas (Tibetan: གཏོར་མ་, Sanskrit: Bali, Chinese: 食子) and medicine. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
