Collected Teachings of Master Tāranātha JT525: A Praise of Mañjuvajra Called "The Garland of Increase, Which Augments Supreme Qualities" 24-202 ༄༅། ། A Praise of Mañjuvajra Called "The Garland of Increase, Which Augments Supreme Qualities" ༄། །The First ༄༅། ། A Praise of Mañjuvajra Called "The Garland of Increase, Which Augments Supreme Qualities" ༄༅། །Namo Mañjuvajrāya (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning). I respectfully prostrate to the lotus feet of the Mañjughoṣa guru. The Mañjughoṣa guru, Vajradhara, the inseparable lotus feet, with reverence tied to the supreme topknot, I compose this praise that increases qualities. Excellent! Good! Glorious! Treasure (1)! Venerable! Your! To me! Grant (2)! Son of the Victorious Ones! Mañjughoṣa! Treasure of wisdom! I bow to you (3)! Lord of Dharma! Of Mañjuśrī! Light of wisdom! Dispel the darkness of my mind (4)! Like a saffron youth, a mass of red-yellow light gathers, like eye medicine, black, you with five topknots (5)! If I always rely on you with reverence, all limitless sentient beings, only today, the delusion of ignorance, please clear away the haze (6)! Mañjuvajra, the only son of the Victorious Ones, showing the form of a youth, possessing a limitless mandala of emanations, please grant me the kindness of your compassion (7)! The red dust of Mañjuśrī's lotus feet burns away the bodiless and armed Maras, this amazing chariot of light, this equal red light is cold (8)! It is not that it increases the water lilies of desire, but it is the moonlight without the Rāhu of afflictions, your face, the beautiful wish-fulfilling jewel of nectar, makes the lord of joy fall into darkness, this is amazing (9)! The reflection of your toenails, the joy of the water treasure, even the inferior appearance of the clear water ocean of your hair, should be respectfully relied upon by the king of proud swans, it is the supreme place of rest for those exhausted by samsara (10)! The net of rays covers the face of the sun, the beautiful white light sways, the good teeth are adorned with the moon, even hearing the name of the cool breeze of Malaya and camphor forests brings great joy (11)!
