Grounding 23-273 Do it. Say: "As the Lord has commanded, I will do all those things." Repeat this. Offer a mandala as thanks. Starting from today, etc., dedicate the merit to enlightenment. Then, speak the words of truth: All phenomena are like reflections, pure and clear, without turbidity. They cannot be grasped or spoken of, but arise truly from cause and action. That is that, and it will surely happen. By that truth, may the mandala, the clear reflection, be seen without obscuration by all the disciples. Say this three times. Preparing the disciple and bestowing the empowerment should be understood as an empowerment ritual free from errors. If possible, perform a fire offering. Hold the disciple's hand and offer three or seven handfuls of nectar, praying for the desired outcome. The disciple should also offer gifts at this time. Furthermore, please the deity with tormas and tsok offerings, etc. As it is said: If the deity is not pleased, one will be completely refuted. Therefore (please the deity). Subsequent Activities Third, the subsequent activities: In the morning, when the sun has risen, replenish the offerings. Bless them as before. Oṃ Hrīḥ Ṣṭīḥ Ha (ༀ་ཧྲཱིཿཥྚཱི་ཧ།,Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ ह्रीः ष्टीः ह,Sanskrit Romanization: o hrīḥ ṣṭīḥ ha,Om, Shame, Firm, Ha) etc., for the outer offerings, and as before for the inner offerings. Praise with Aye Kye Kye Sanskrit Romanization: aye kye kye,Aye, Kye, Kye) etc., and make the sound of various musical instruments. Pray: May all the deities of Yamāntaka, the Destroyer of Death, together with their retinue, have compassion on me and all sentient beings. Grant me the accomplishments of peaceful and other activities, and all worldly and transworldly accomplishments. May the Buddha's teachings flourish, and may the happiness and well-being of sentient beings increase. Thus, request your desires. At the end, recite the Hundred Syllable Mantra many times. Ask for forgiveness for any shortcomings, etc. Oṃ, You, sentient beings, etc., three times. Oṃ Vajra Muḥ (ༀ་བཛྲ་མུཿ,Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ वज्र मुः,Sanskrit Romanization: o vajra muḥ,Om, Vajra, Muḥ): Please, the wisdom beings, depart. Jaḥ Hūṃ Vaṃ Hoḥ (ཛཿཧཱུཾ་བཾ་ཧོཿ,Sanskrit Devanagari: जः हूँ वं होः,Sanskrit Romanization: jaḥ hūṃ vaṃ hoḥ,Jaḥ, Hūṃ, Vaṃ, Hoḥ): The samaya beings dissolve into oneself. With the pride of the deity and the firm view of emptiness, recite the A-kara mantra: All dharmas are unborn. All dharmas are without substance. Thus, recite. Sanskrit Romanization: sarva vighnan vajra dhara ajñā payati hū,All, Obstacles, Vajra Holder, Command, Make Known, Hū). 23-274

Om. Starting from the east gate with the vajra peak, draw the mandala of colored powders. In the end, the traces of the work should be made invisible. If the stake is actually placed, with the dry hand seal, recite "Oṃ Vajra Kīla Kīlāya Hūṃ Phaṭ Phaṭ Ho (Tibetan, ༀ་བཛྲ་ཀཱི་ལ་ཀཱི་ལ་ཡ་ཧཱུཾ་ཕཊ་ཕཊ་ཧོ་; Sanskrit Devanagari, ॐ वज्र कील कीलाय हुं फट् फट् हो; Sanskrit Roman transliteration, oṃ vajra kīla kīlāya hūṃ phaṭ phaṭ ho; Literal Chinese meaning, Om, Vajra, Kila, Kilaya, Hum, Phat, Phat, Ho)" and extract it. Fill the place with milk using Ruru, Sphuru, etc. If it is placed by mind, it is not necessary. The invitation of colored powders into the water should be known elsewhere. Then, make prayers and extensive auspiciousness, and again give a feast to the Sangha, and please the master and his retinue with a gathering. Here it is said: Although there are many ritual texts here, some good ones are difficult to practice nowadays. Seeing that some easy-to-practice ones are not entirely good, this faultless and virtuous one is combined. If there are mistakes, it is only a fault of wisdom, and even the upright intention is not damaged. With utmost respect for this Dharma, this Sanskrit is also to please the wise. May the merit of writing the mandala ritual of Manjushri the Hero, who destroys the four maras, cause the co-emergent nature of all beings to touch the state of the essence of union. This was also written at the request of many seekers of the Dharma by Gyal Khampa Tāranātha at the age of thirty-four, in the hermitage of glorious Jomo Nang. May virtue and goodness increase! Written by the Tibetan grammarian and mantra holder Lodrö Namgyal for the sake of the ten practices of Dharma. (Original text: Old manuscript of the ten sections of Dramngön, final part, 709)
