Searching for distinctions, deciding within the realm of self-nature. First, one enters into a general observation and detailed analysis of the essence of the mind. There, effort naturally ceases, and when an experience that cannot be expressed arises, one rests in that natural state. This is the first session. Second, looking only at the non-conceptual mind, is there something permanent and stable that never arises or ceases? Or is there something that arises and ceases, something that is nothing at all? If it arises and ceases, how does it arise? If it abides, how does it abide? What are its color, shape, and so on? Where is it, inside or outside? If it ceases, how does it cease? When one examines these questions in detail, one finds peace in the ungraspable. This is the second session. Third, when the eye sees a form, observe how the essence of that form, which is clearly seen, is. Are that and this mind, which is vividly aware, the same? What are the differences and distinctions? Analyze them carefully. Apply this also to hearing sounds with the ear, and so on. This is the third session. Fourth, again, what is the difference between the appearance of thoughts on the path and the nature of the mind? Are the two the same or different? When a thought arises, how does it arise? When it has arisen and has not yet ceased, how does it exist? When it ceases, how does it cease? Analyze this carefully. This is the fourth session. Fifth, what is the difference between the mind when the eye sees a form and the mind when it does not see a form? If there is a difference, how is there a difference? If there is no difference, how is there no difference? Analyze this. This is the fifth session. Sixth, carefully analyze whether there are differences in good or bad, clear or unclear, empty or not empty between the mind when thoughts arise and the mind when they do not arise. In those four methods of searching, one cultivates in that very state where the aim eventually dissolves. This is the sixth session. Seventh, decide that all these appearances are one's own mind. When one analyzes the mind well, one finds nothing to grasp. Resting in that state, and searching further, although it is ungraspable, it is not nothing; although it is emptiness, various things appear. The naked awareness that is clear, bright and flashing, vividly experienced, and inexpressible, one settles firmly into that. This is the seventh session. Thus, there are seven types of vipassanā.

The preliminary practice of the three self-arising states is to contemplate eighteen rounds. The Khyungpo's master Niguma emphasized the preliminary practice. Maitripa emphasized the main practice. Sukhasiddhi emphasized the subsequent practice, saying that realization must arise during the preliminary practice. The main practice is the self-liberation of the four faults. The main practice is first introduced as a means of empowerment through the door of blessings: Construct a blue mandala dharma source. On it, place a large torma on a seat, erect an arrow banner, and decorate it with fine wooden ornaments. Arrange offering tormas, offerings, and feast substances in front. The offering is the same as the general blessing. The master himself meditates on the Abhisambodhi of Sahaja Heruka, and purifies the mandala and torma generated in front with Sumbha, and purifies with Svabhava. As in the torma ritual, from generating the protector to reciting mantras. Then, perform bathing and scattering flowers for the disciples. Offer the mandala three times. Let the disciples receive the Abhisambodhi of Sahaja Heruka and focus their minds slightly. Let them meditate on the protector generated in front in an instant, and in the center surrounded by all the lineage masters above. Wisdom Dakini Niguma, with a dark brown body, holding a damaru and a skull khatvanga, with dance posture and bone ornaments. In her prime. Visualize the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, the deities of the Ishtadevata mandala, the five classes of Dakinis, and the assembly of millions of Dakinis residing. Visualize that this actual mandala offered to them is the three thousand great thousand worlds, filled with gold and offered. The master and disciples together bless the feast and torma. The blessing ritual is blessed like the inner offering of any Ishtadevata. At the end of Om Hrih Ha Ha Hum Hum Phet, add Om Ah Kah Roh, first offer to the master and Ishtadevata. Then, as in the torma ritual, offer to the protector and his retinue. Offer to the Dakinis with Om Sarva Dakini Saparivara Ah Kah Roh, etc. Holding flowers in their hands, repeat this prayer, and, I take refuge in the Buddhas residing in the ten directions! To the Dharma residing in the ten directions.
