In various places, he built about five small temples, it is said that all of them were completed simultaneously in one hour. Thus, he stayed there for about twelve years, and finally, like making wings with his monastic robe, he departed windingly from the path of the sky, and went to the southwest Rakshasa Island. Does twelve years mean half a year? Now, on the island of Droding, the extent of hearing, thinking, and meditating on the tantra of the Glorious Moon Secret Bindu is only according to this master's tradition. Similarly, the great tantra of Vajra Heart Ornament, Vajrapani, Vajra Gandhari, Yamantaka, Hayagriva, Mahakala, the Seven Mothers, and other tantras, and many small divisions, 20-68 and in that place, there seems to be a group called Mahagani, who are only followers of Yeshe Zhabs, and they highly value only the teachings of Yeshe Zhabs and his four heart-sons. Therefore, the tradition of Guru Padmasambhava, Hevajra, Shri Chakrasamvara, and those mentioned above, are very prevalent there. The treatises related to those tantras, and the oral instructions of Guhyasamaja, also seem to have been composed by this master. The place where the dakinis first took their vows is called Mapastha. There is a handmade stove on the rock. The place where they took the second vows is called Alpastha. There are thousands of traces of vajras left by striking the dakinis with vajras. Those accomplished vajras do not dwell in the realm of ordinary people's activities, so the others have disappeared, but in order for future beings to believe, the wisdom being merged into the master's body, and a material vajra was placed, which is said to be impossible to find in any material such as stone, wood, copper, iron, etc. There is a self-arisen vajra that does not look like it was made, and its size is about three times the size of a person. Initially, there was a small vajra made of wood, but when it is accomplished, it gradually grows and changes in size as desired, and phenomena such as walking and talking appear, like a real deity, and it becomes a shining halo. At that time, a chief of subtle mantra-holding women transformed her body into the size of Mount Sumeru and began to flee.

Moreover, that vajra stake became as large as a mountain and was erected. Later, as wisdom was absorbed into the body of the master, the radiating light and burning flames subsided, and it is said that it became like a body with only remnants left. Thus, the story of this master, the oral tradition of the great accomplished one Shiwai Sangpo (Zhi ba sbas pa), etc., is known in India, but it is scattered. More detailed and extensive than that are the things heard directly from the mouths of the two direct disciples who were transmitted from the master Lhai Jungden ('Lha'i 'byung ldan) of Droding, and the ways in which they worked for the benefit of beings in Tibet, which are consistent with many original old documents, so they are considered extremely credible and have been recorded. In addition, some teachings of this master that came from the Droding area and were transmitted through Indian scholars have also been heard. Although we have also seen historical documents from India, they also include the story documents of the lineage of masters of our teachers, the Panditas, and the story documents of the flourishing of Buddhism in the Droding area, etc. Furthermore, the pure oral instructions transmitted from ear to ear by the wise and accomplished holy beings have been compared. Therefore, there is nothing to subtract or discard from this narrative, and there are many true and wonderful stories worth adding. It is also mentioned in Indian legends that this master also went to an island called Huramuju, Sikodhāra, Dhanakośa, and Rugmala, etc., to benefit beings. However, since the historical records of these places have not been found, and although many wonderful stories related to the unique meanings of the various Tibetan Dharma traditions have been seen, they have not been written here because the length would become too long. Here it is said: Some narrow-minded people, just because of foolish faith, add many fabricated stories in order to increase people's faith. Most people are very ignorant, and even for things that are not true and whose words and meanings are not good, faith may increase. However, if those with discernment see or hear it, they will feel ashamed, and because of this, they will cast doubt on all pure Dharma and holy beings.

What could be more harmful than this, which is the work of demons? Now, abandoning hesitation towards wondrous tales, it is not an exaggeration to say. Even with these few words, it surpasses those self-made great volumes of stories a hundred times. By the virtue of writing this, may I also attain the state of that Protector and lead all beings to liberation. Speaking these clear and pure words of faith is certainly due to the blessings of that Protector entering my heart. Those who follow worldly fame, and those who are prone to slander and prejudice, I do not expect them to like this way. The cause of faith for me and those who follow my words is the nectar of the minds and ears of the wise. This biography of the Great Teacher Padmasambhava of Oddiyana, the embodiment of the Vajra speech of all Tathagatas, called "Possessing Three Faiths," was also written at the age of thirty-six by Ja Kham pa Tarānātha at the secluded place of Nakgyal Jomo Nang, thinking that it would nourish his own faith, urged by Tsang Nyon Kunga Palzang, who lives and travels with him. May virtue and goodness increase. Table of Contents The biography of the Great Teacher Padmasambhava, the text that clarifies it, named "Possessing Three Faiths," is presented here.
