There are three types: the completely imputed, the dependent, and the thoroughly established. The completely imputed has two aspects: the completely imputed that is apprehended and the completely imputed that apprehends. The dependent has two aspects: the impure dependent and the pure dependent. The thoroughly established has two aspects: the unchanging thoroughly established and the non-inverted thoroughly established. Among these, the completely imputed is the actual object of apprehension, and the thoroughly established is the actual unchanging. Except for the one non-inverted that is of the same essence as the unchanging, the rest of the non-inverted are included in the pure dependent. The apprehending completely imputed and the dependent are of the same essence. When analyzed with reason, the actual dependent is included in the completely imputed, and its nature is the thoroughly established. Therefore, all phenomena are included in the completely imputed and the thoroughly established. All phenomena of samsara and nirvana have the distinction of three natures, or are related to conventional consciousness, or are established as two aspects of ultimate wisdom. Forms, sounds, smells, tastes, etc., belong to the aspect of conventional consciousness, therefore they are unreal; the forms, sounds, etc., of the nature of reality belong to the aspect of wisdom, therefore they are truly established; the conventional aspects are different from each other, while the ultimate phenomena have no contradictions or faults. This was also spoken by Tāranātha at the secluded place of Chölung Jangtsé at the request of some seekers. Auspicious! Proofread once.
