The two stages of generation, called the supreme mandala. What is taught in the great yoga is the supreme action. Although there are two kinds of realization vows, they are the same in fourteen branches. The fourteen branches are: purifying the support, performing offerings, protecting against obstacles, accumulating merit, urging to arise, blessing, empowerment, offering and praising, the mandala of the support, relying on generation, delighting the assembly of deities, blessing the armor, invoking and dissolving the wheel of wisdom with mudras, offering praise and tasting nectar. Among these, the first, in front of painted images and other supports, arrange mandalas with red sandalwood and other materials. In front, arrange offering water, nearby objects on the right, and washing water on the left. First, recite refuge and bodhicitta and the hundred-syllable mantra as appropriate. The first is purifying the support: instantly visualize oneself as a wisdom dakini, in the heart of the wisdom dakini, in the center of the open eight-petaled lotus flower of the heart-water tree, there is a moon mandala. On top of that, from Hūṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ) arises a blue five-pronged vajra, marked with Hūṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ), which is the purification of the mind. In the palm of the right hand, from the letter A (Tibetan, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: A) arises a sun mandala. On the five fingers, including the thumb, are Ā (Tibetan, Devanagari: आ, Romanized Sanskrit: ā, Literal meaning: Ā), Suṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: सुं, Romanized Sanskrit: suṃ, Literal meaning: Suṃ), Kṣuṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: क्षुं, Romanized Sanskrit: kṣuṃ, Literal meaning: Kṣuṃ), Yuṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: युं, Romanized Sanskrit: yuṃ, Literal meaning: Yuṃ), and Hūṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ), all as five-pronged vajras. In the palm of the left hand, from the letter Soṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: सोम, Romanized Sanskrit: soma, Literal meaning: Soma) arises a moon. On the five fingers, including the thumb, are Saṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: सं, Romanized Sanskrit: saṃ, Literal meaning: Saṃ), Smyuṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: स्म्युं, Romanized Sanskrit: smyuṃ, Literal meaning: Smyuṃ), Hmyuṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह्म्युं, Romanized Sanskrit: hmyuṃ, Literal meaning: Hmyuṃ), Ymyuṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: य्म्युं, Romanized Sanskrit: ymyuṃ, Literal meaning: Ymyuṃ), and Kṣmyuṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: क्ष्म्युं, Romanized Sanskrit: kṣmyuṃ, Literal meaning: Kṣmyuṃ), all transformed into five-petaled lotuses. This is the blessing of the hands. At the throat, from Hrīḥ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Literal meaning: Hrīḥ) arises a red eight-petaled lotus. On the tongue petal is a moon, on which is a vajra arising from Hūṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ), marked with Hūṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ). Oṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ॐ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal meaning: Oṃ) Ā (Tibetan, Devanagari: आ, Romanized Sanskrit: ā, Literal meaning: Ā) Jihva Saṃvartani Hūṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ) Phaṭ (Tibetan, Devanagari: फट्, Romanized Sanskrit: phaṭ, Literal meaning: Phaṭ). Recite three times. Touch the places with the mudra of the three-poled flag in the left hand. Kṣuṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: क्षुं, Romanized Sanskrit: kṣuṃ, Literal meaning: Kṣuṃ) at the crown, Hūṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ) at the two eyes, Yuṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: युं, Romanized Sanskrit: yuṃ, Literal meaning: Yuṃ) at the ears and nose, Suṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: सुं, Romanized Sanskrit: suṃ, Literal meaning: Suṃ) at the tongue, Smyuṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: स्म्युं, Romanized Sanskrit: smyuṃ, Literal meaning: Smyuṃ) at the throat, Hmyuṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह्म्युं, Romanized Sanskrit: hmyuṃ, Literal meaning: Hmyuṃ) at the shoulders, Ymyuṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: य्म्युं, Romanized Sanskrit: ymyuṃ, Literal meaning: Ymyuṃ) at the heart, Kṣmyuṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: क्ष्म्युं, Romanized Sanskrit: kṣmyuṃ, Literal meaning: Kṣmyuṃ) at the navel. Thus bless. Secondly, performing offerings: with the samaya mudra of the lion-faced mother, recite Oṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ॐ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal meaning: Oṃ) {Samarayuṃ} (Tibetan) many times to accomplish the washing water. Touch the offering water vessels and tormas with the one-pointed vajra mudra, reciting Oṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ॐ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal meaning: Oṃ) Hūṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ) Svāhā (Tibetan, Devanagari: स्वाहा, Romanized Sanskrit: svāhā, Literal meaning: Svāhā) seven times. In the actual text of Ārya Deva, it is taught that only offering water is used as washing water, but in practice...
