Collection of Instructions by Master Taranatha JT200 The Ritual of the Hevajra Mandala, the Oral Instructions of Virupa, Following the Words of the Upper Ones. 11-76 ༄༅། །The Ritual of the Hevajra Mandala, the Oral Instructions of Virupa, Following the Words of the Upper Ones. ༄། །First and Second: The Ritual of Taking Disciples and Recitation ༄༅། །The Ritual of the Hevajra Mandala, the Oral Instructions of Virupa, Following the Words of the Upper Ones. ༄༅། །Om Svasti! Homage to the Guru and Glorious Heruka! Here, the practice of the Hevajra Mandala, known as the Oral Instructions of the Great Accomplisher Virupa, has eight points: the ritual of taking disciples and recitation; the earth ritual, preparation, the four abodes; drawing the mandala, arranging the ornaments, practice and offering; the initiation ritual, and the concluding activities. Among these, the first is taking disciples, and the second is the recitation ritual. The Guru should be regarded as the great water of the crest initiation. ༄། །Third: Elaborate Earth Ritual. Third, the elaborate earth ritual comes from "Excellent Taking" and "Jewel Blaze." The intermediate method is based on the actual teachings of the great initiation water, combined with the later, unadulterated method. The concise method can be accomplished with just this much. The preliminary torma sequence that follows, and the general and specific aspects of the earth deity preparation ritual, raise the earth. Recite Amrita (藏文，梵文天城体अमृत，梵文罗马拟音amṛta，汉语字面意思：甘露). Smear the ground with cow dung. Om Bhukham! Become the nature of space. Hum Lam Hum! Become the nature of Vajra. Om Hana Hana Vajra Krodha Hum Phat! Purify with cleansing water and ashes. On that ground, from refuge to recitation, complete the self-generation deity. Finally, make offerings and praise. Om Vajra Udhistha, raise it to the sky. Oneself transforms from the heart of the main deity into the form of a two-armed Heruka. With the syllable Hum and pride, lay the foundation of the mandala. From emptiness, from Pam arises a lotus, up to the mantra of Raksha Raksha (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思：保护保护), act like the common protection wheel. ༄། །Fourth: Abiding in Preparation.
