Collected Teachings of Master Tāranātha JT188: The Treatise on the Quintessential Instructions Endowed with Seven Transmissions, Called "The Excellent Vajra Path," Composed by the Great Master Dechen Dorje Shrimadde Ruka Shiwaba. The Treatise on the Quintessential Instructions Endowed with Seven Transmissions, Called "The Excellent Vajra Path," Composed by the Great Master Dechen Dorje Shrimadde Ruka Shiwaba. ༄། །First Chapter ༄༅། །The Treatise on the Quintessential Instructions Endowed with Seven Transmissions, Called "The Excellent Vajra Path," Composed by the Great Master Dechen Dorje Shrimadde Ruka Shiwaba. ༄༅། །Om Swasti. (藏文:ༀ་སྭཱ་སྟི།) Om Vajradhāra Ya Namo. Om, Vajradhara, Homage!) In the Indian language: Vajrasumārganāmaḥ. (梵文天城体:वज्रसुमार्गनाम,梵文罗马拟音:vajrasumārganāmaḥ) In the Tibetan language: Called "The Excellent Vajra Path." Homage to the Vajra Holder! The Protector, the Great Bliss, I prostrate to the Vajra Holder Guru. To fully explain all the tantras, I will now explain in detail. At the beginning of the tantra is the letter E-Vam. This is the container of all the aggregates. The great bliss of emptiness and compassion, the Buddha speaks of this, and also samsara. However, recognize the self-nature manifest and the reality of the stainless mind. With great compassion for beings, one should rely on a guru who understands the tantras. Be respectful and honest to the guru, abandon other paths and teachers, be free from conceptualization of the profound meaning, and with effort, everything will be accompanied by results. The tantra of liberation of supreme bliss, the ground, path, and fruition, all are naturally great bliss, and great bliss is accomplished by bliss. Here, what is the nature of the mind? It abides in the two kayas. The extremely non-elaborate Dharmakaya, the Rupakaya includes the body and the outer world. For that which is without beginning, the first causeless Buddha Dharma, constantly abiding in all sentient beings, is called the Vajradhara of the cause. The five aggregates are the self-Buddha, the consorts and elements are the mandala. The senses, objects, and all that is good, the Bodhisattvas and consorts, thus purifying all defilements, one should meditate on great wisdom. The generation stage is well established, here meditate on the completion stage. For the sake of the cause of the support and the supported, without a body there is no bliss, the body is a pure mandala, and the mind is also true bliss.
