Having prostrated to Heruka, the glorious great hero, who destroys the four māras, I will explain briefly, according to the words of the guru, the means for accomplishing the ultimate meaning. Here, the oral instructions transmitted from the venerable Lūyipāda, the great master of accomplishment, are the perfection stage of the Śamvara Tantra. This method of instruction has two parts: the preliminary and the main practice. First, with refuge and bodhicitta as the preliminary, there are two instructions: purifying obscurations by relying on the meditation and recitation of Vajrasattva, and accumulating merit by relying on the maṇḍala guru yoga. The first should be understood as the sādhana, and the second is similar to the common practice. However, those who hold the oral instructions of Phamthingpa make the designations guru, buddha, vajra, and dharma, and meditate on a red Vajradhara, reciting "vajra." Main Practice. Second, the main practice has two parts: the perfection stage of striking the essential points of the causal vajra body, and the perfection stage of attaining mastery over the resultant qualities. The Perfection Stage of Striking the Essential Points of the Causal Vajra Body. First, there are two: relying on the path of messengers and relying on the path of yoga. The first should be learned from other texts and from the guru's instructions. Second, according to the followers of Phamthingpa, there are the absorption of Vajrasattva, the absorption of letters, and the absorption of bindus. They make the designation of three absorptions. The translator followers of Nāropa, 8-579 and other great paṇḍitas who are not followers of Nāropa but who hold this system, do not make the designation of three absorptions, but the oral instructions for the stages of meditation and practice seem to be the same in essence, except for slight differences in elaboration and abbreviation. Therefore, it should be done as follows. If those three absorptions are explained sequentially with different names and meanings, they are the oral instructions for the great yoga of rest, the oral instructions for the recitation of the coarse wind, and the oral instructions for the subtle vajra recitation, these three. ༈ Rest

The Great Bliss Instruction. First, the body posture, After doing things like regulating the breath, visualize yourself as the union of Heruka and consort. In the navel, the emanation wheel, with eight petals in the inner circle and fifty-six petals in the outer circle, in the center of the navel, in the central channel, in the middle of the union of the sun and moon, visualize a blue nada (藏文:ན་ད,梵文天城体:nada,梵文罗马拟音:nada,汉语字面意思:Nada) about the size of a finger. Gently hold the combined breath and meditate. Alternatively, according to the instructions of each lineage, in that place, meditate on the syllable Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:hūṃ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ) or a white bindu, like a small bean, emitting light. If you do not do the union of the sun and moon, you can meditate on a red or white moon, and any of the three: nada, the syllable Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:hūṃ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ), or bindu. By meditating in this way, if you can hold the mind, the signs of the breath entering the central channel, abiding, and dissolving will gradually appear, and subtle experiences of warmth, bliss, and the four joys will arise. The first session of meditation. If experience arises in this way, you can increase it, and if experience does not arise even after meditating for a long time, you can meditate on this during breaks: directly in the center of the vajra jewel or the lotus stem, visualize a white moon about half the size of a bean, and on it, visualize a red bindu, like a small bean, emitting light. In the state of union, press down on the secret place, and alternately do abdominal expansion and upward lifting. The second session of meditation. Then, alternate between the previous visualization and these two. 8-580 By meditating, it is impossible for an experience of warmth, bliss, and emptiness not to arise. Moreover, if it arises not just once but stably, then you should meditate on the visualization of dissolving the deity into light: visualize yourself as the body that encompasses saṃsāra and nirvāṇa, and from the navel, the garland of Āli (藏文:ཨཱ་ལི,梵文天城体:āli,梵文罗马拟音:āli,汉语字面意思:Āli) and Kālī (藏文:ཀཱ་ལི,梵文天城体:kāli,梵文罗马拟音:kāli,汉语字面意思:Kālī) appears, emitting five-colored light, transforming into the deities of the mandala. Exhale with the breath of the right nostril. Light pervades, and all appearances transform into the nature of the deities. Merge into one taste with the heroes and yoginis who have been accomplished from the beginning. Withdraw. Enter through the left nostril. Reaching the navel, on the red or white moon disc, a garland of vowels and consonants appears like a reflection, surrounding the white syllable Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:hūṃ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ) in the center, tinged with red. On the moon, the vowels, consonants, and Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:hūṃ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ) are completely transformed, transforming into the co-emergent Heruka, the white father, and the mother.
