is the real one, and it has been present in the mindstream of sentient beings since the beginning of primordial nature, although it has not manifested. Through the means of non-conceptual methods, striking the key points in the body, and the practice of obstructing karmic winds, it can be manifested like extracting treasures from underground. Now, even for beginners, the clarity of the mind is not extinguished, and the appearance of infinite empty forms arises. This is the true sign that the nature of mind is the perfect emptiness endowed with all aspects, and that it encompasses the images of the three realms of samsara and nirvana. Therefore, one should generate such certainty. Any mind in which images appear is free from elaboration and cannot be grasped. The appearance of suffering vanishes, and one abides in bliss. This is the true sign that the nature of mind abides in the unchanging great bliss. Therefore, one should generate such certainty. Ultimately, the wisdom of the Buddha is fully and completely present within one's own mind. By diligently striving to purify the adventitious stains that obscure it, one can quickly and freely gain control over the state of perfect Buddhahood. Here it is said: The precious human body, which is extremely difficult to obtain, has been obtained. Having encountered the ocean of the nectar of the sacred Dharma, which clearly shows all the places of what to adopt and abandon, how can one bear to waste it meaninglessly? As the number of years and months gradually decreases, even the long period of kalpas quickly comes to an end. What need is there to mention the lifespan of people in the degenerate age? Do not be dominated by procrastination and laziness! Even the most cherished body is quickly abandoned. What need is there to mention lands, possessions, and so on? Praising songs and sweet words are like echoes in the valley. Who would be attached to something without essence? Good and bad karma follow the mind. One has no control over where one will be born in the next life. When one is led by karma to the precipice of the six realms, all actions other than the Dharma will deceive you. The suffering of samsara is like a great ocean, unfathomable and difficult to cross. One after another, like waves of water, this cycle of suffering has no end. The reality called the suffering of samsara

Another one. Truly established independence does not exist. When the mind's delusion manifests as clear appearances, suffering is experienced as if it were real. For example, when someone falls asleep and dreams, they dream of falling off a cliff and injuring their body. The cliff does not exist, and the falling body does not exist, yet they experience suffering as if they were actually falling. In all things, self and other, inner and outer, vessel and contents, the notion of "I" and "mine" is never established. Therefore, thinking of oneself is delusion. All sentient beings, as vast as space, are deluded by their own minds. In order to dry up the ocean of delusion, when one's own mind generates great diligence, delusion is cleared away, and one attains Buddhahood by abiding eternally in the original state of primordial nature. Impure appearances, the phenomena of grasping and being grasped, of samsara, those who hold them to be existent have eternalistic views. The essence of wisdom, the sphere of ultimate reality, to think that it does not exist is the lowest of nihilistic views. Created things, such as persons, to think that they are imperishable and permanent is an eternalistic view. Cause and effect, dependent origination, arise unceasingly at all times. To deny virtuous and non-virtuous actions is a nihilistic view. Even conventional truth is free from the extremes of permanence and annihilation, and the way of realizing ultimate truth also abandons both extremes. To understand in this way is pure view. Otherwise, even if one boasts greatly, one will lose the point. The ultimate self-aware Sugata-garbha (Tathāgatagarbha), is complete with all aspects, its nature unchangeable. All phenomena of samsara and nirvana in conventional truth have never existed. That alone is the essence of pure view. Always abandon evil deeds with body, speech, and mind. Generate virtuous thoughts and virtuous actions, virtuous speech and the intention to benefit others. This is the conduct needed by all vehicles. Be skilled in all arts and sciences and all Dharma, attain all qualities, accomplish all samadhis, abandon all faults, enter all vehicles, rely on all methods to benefit all sentient beings. There is nothing among virtuous dharmas that one does not practice. Dedicate all actions to the benefit of sentient beings. Rejoice in all the virtues of others. This is the conduct of all the Great Vehicles. Although conduct is good, do not cling to goodness, and while being meticulous about what to accept and reject, understand all actions as being like illusions. This is the pure discipline of the sons of the Buddhas. All appearances are mandalas.
