When I merge into it, the basis is the complete enjoyment of one's own mind. Don't treat it like raw butter that hasn't been processed by external conditions. If appearance and mind do not arise without distinction, even if it is easy to maintain bliss, clarity, and non-thought, it is useless because it is a method of practicing samsara. Enjoyment is the wind of distraction. All realms are like paintings of rainbows. If you search for self and other and cannot find them, then how will you benefit beings with what you have? Only then will compassion for others arise. Just as honey clings to a razor, do not crave pleasure and happiness. At times, in this short life, how many younger than oneself have died? How many of the same age and older have passed away? Please contemplate these things repeatedly. No matter what afflictions and conceptual thoughts arise, observing one's own mind is very beneficial. Conceptual thoughts and sins will naturally disappear. View and meditation must be able to control distraction. In conduct, one must be able to restrain oneself, without hypocrisy or concealment. Please master the key instructions. Do not follow superficial Dharma and words. Do not engage in divination activities. Do not engage in biased assistance. Do not indulge in afflictions. Do not engage in biased actions. Do not seek immediate clairvoyance. Please meditate without meditation and post-meditation! How can the net of demons catch you then? Do not suppress others with arrogance, and do not have accusatory attachment and hatred towards compassion. Let go of subtle and coarse distinctions, as you please. Keeping vows and pretending to keep vows have the danger of faults. Naturally arising conduct is very wonderful. Whether walking, standing, sitting, or lying down, whatever you do, if there is no distraction, you are a great practitioner. When explaining the view of freedom from elaboration, the view is like the sky. The sky has no edge or center. Samsara and Nirvana have no self-nature. Both appear as false dharmas. Realize the single meaning of no acceptance or rejection. When explaining meditation without attachment, the three—mind, appearance, and conceptual thought—disappear like water poured into water. Meditation and post-meditation have the same taste, without a target. There is no need for observation or effort. The king of pith instructions is mindfulness. When explaining naturally arising conduct, without clinging and attachment, it is very free. Unbiased conduct is very joyful. Without hypocrisy and concealment, the bondage is very small. Relax and be free like a small child. Realize the state of no reliance and attachment, like a madman. Realize the original face of no acceptance or rejection. Karma...

Doing also, there is abiding in a state of no-doing. Accumulating also, there is no accumulating. Just by saying the fruit is spontaneously accomplished, This uncontrived self-mind, Is the intent of the Buddhas of the three times, An artificial Buddha is a mistake. One should not have expectations or fears towards the Buddha. If one does not see the Lama as the Dharmakaya, That devotion is pure partiality. If emptiness is without compassion, Is it not a pure nihilistic view? Not fearing to harm sentient beings, Is that monastic conduct not hypocrisy? If impartiality has not arisen, Doing beneficial thoughts is attachment and desire. Attachment to food and clothing increases, Do not say there is no clinging. If one does not fear the law of cause and effect, All hearing, thinking, and meditating are like bubbles on water. If the mind has not turned to Dharma, All instructions remain mere words. If there appears to be slander of the holy ones, It is being possessed by the demon of jealousy. If one knows thoughts are like water bubbles, It is called yoga of self-liberation. Without mixing in intentional fabrication, Clear, bright, and shimmering, valala. Let go, hrig ge, and clarity will come, Please generate diligence and effort. The mind becomes clearer, reducing distractions. One becomes weary of just meditating, This awareness does not touch anything, Abide without support, yogi! Go like peeling off the outer skin, If the essence is not found, there is something to be found there. If the true face is not known, there is something to be known there. There is a time when the mind is joyful and clear, Is that not the beginning of experience? If the mind goes but does not go with appearances, The second experience arises. Even if many appearances arise in an instant, Yet in the primordial realm of mind, they become one taste, That is also experienced like a dream. Sometimes scattered, appearing suddenly, yet in the state of awareness and emptiness, If the essence is spontaneously left, All thoughts disappear without a trace, That is the third stage of experience. However many doors of external appearances there are, The moment inner afflictions and thoughts arise, With this union of awareness and emptiness, Self-emptiness appears nakedly. In that very moment, there is continuous recognition. It is called yoga without meditation or post-meditation. Is it not knowing that it is rootless? Although it is said to be inexpressible, unthinkable, unspeakable, and beyond mind, Self-knowing, self-illuminating, etc., Yet it is bound by the shackles of understanding and experience.
