The twenty-eight constellations rotate to the left in the sky, used to calculate the positions that people offend. Starting from the year Wu Yin of the Wude era of the Great Tang Dynasty, up to the year Jia Wu of the Xiantong 15th year, it has been a total of two hundred and fifty-seven years. Just look carefully at the location of each star to accurately determine the good and bad luck of a lifetime, which is extremely miraculous. 1. Rāhu (Eclipse God Star): The mantra for the Eclipse God Star is as follows: Om Rāhu na Asura raja ya samashatuye (name and position) shanti kari svāhā The oral instruction for making offerings to Rāhu is to face the direction of Chou (丑, Ox) and Yin (寅, Tiger). When one reaches the ages of 1, 10, 19, 28, 37, 46, 55, 64, 73, 82, and 91, it is extremely ominous. For those whose year of life reaches this constellation, it is ominous. The star is hidden and not seen. It is also named Rāhu, also named Luo Shi, also named Yellow Banner, also named Fire Yang. When it approaches a person's natal chart, it causes worry about losing official position, being entangled in serious illness, loss of wealth, mourning, sorrow, and disputes. If a king encounters this star due to improper sacrifices, he should cultivate blessings to avert it. Drawing the form of the offending deity with Yuanshen money and making offerings is very auspicious. (A person's life belongs to the Great Pure Heaven. For a gentleman, encountering this star is a year of great calamity, called Saturn. One should not offend it. Its form is like a Brahmin, wearing a bull's crown, holding a tin staff. To eliminate the misfortune it brings to the king, offer a plate of fruit in the late summer month. One should send money to the original spirit of one's birth year, and draw and worship the form of the offended deity. Wear yellow clothes to ward it off, and one will surely eliminate disasters and increase blessings and longevity. The year of birth belongs to the Red Void Heaven, and everything is unsatisfactory. Men should not be officials, and women should not marry. Avoid the Geng and Xin days in March and September. The person's life belongs to Feichongtian (Flying Chong Heaven), and everything is auspicious, worries are resolved, and troubles are eliminated.
