To request the Dharma teachings of initiation, offer a mandala, pray, and confess. Take the vows of the Five Families, and perform the usual practices of invoking wisdom. Then, for the main practice, please have this aspiration: On the crown of each of your heads, visualize a lotus arising from 'པཾ' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari pam, Sanskrit Romanized pam, lotus), and a sun disc arising from 'རཾ' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari ram, Sanskrit Romanized ram, fire). 1-273 Above the terrifying Bhairava Kalachakra, visualize a dark blue 'ཧཱུྃ' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari hūṃ, Sanskrit Romanized hūṃ, seed syllable). At the throat, visualize a four-petaled lotus arising from 'པཾ' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari pam, Sanskrit Romanized pam, lotus), with a raised red 'ཨ' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari a, Sanskrit Romanized a, seed syllable) in the center. At the heart, also visualize a lotus, sun disc, and Kalachakra, with a dark blue 'ཧཱུྃ' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari hūṃ, Sanskrit Romanized hūṃ, seed syllable). At the navel, inside a red triangular Dharma source, visualize a red 'བཾ' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari vaṃ, Sanskrit Romanized vaṃ, seed syllable). Then, rays of light radiate from the 'ཧཱུྃ' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari hūṃ, Sanskrit Romanized hūṃ, seed syllable) at the crown of the head, purifying the sins and obscurations of sentient beings in the three realms, and establishing them in the state of the Blessed Chakrasamvara. The rays of light converge back and dissolve into the 'ཧཱུྃ' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari hūṃ, Sanskrit Romanized hūṃ, seed syllable). The 'ཧཱུྃ' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari hūṃ, Sanskrit Romanized hūṃ, seed syllable) completely transforms, and visualize above the crown of your head, the Heruka father and mother, inseparable from the lama, adorned with ornaments, surrounded by the four Dakinis circling counterclockwise. Focus on this. By meditating in this way, warmth arises, and joy is experienced. This is the introduction to the vase initiation. Then, the essence is the lama, the form is the deity's body, the five deities, transform your own body, possessions, and all the roots of virtue accumulated in the three times, into the form of outer, inner, and secret offerings, and offer them, thinking that they are pleased, and recite this prayer: 'Precious lama, please grant me the complete four initiations.' 1-274 Have them say these words. Then, from the seed syllable 'ཧཱུྃ' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari hūṃ, Sanskrit Romanized hūṃ, seed syllable) of the body, inseparable from the lama, a stream of nectar descends, and white light arises, filling the wheel of great bliss at the crown of your head with light, purifying the sins and obscurations of the body, and receiving the vase initiation. Then, light fills the wheel of enjoyment at the throat, purifying the sins and obscurations of speech, and receiving the secret initiation. Then, light fills the wheel of Dharma at the heart, purifying the sins and obscurations of mind, and receiving the wisdom initiation. Then, light fills the wheel of emanation at the navel, purifying the sins and obscurations of body, speech, and mind, and generating the faith of receiving the fourth initiation. Recite the seven-syllable mantra and ring the bell. These are the four aspects of the vase initiation. The four goddesses at the crown of your head dissolve into the mother, the mother dissolves into the father, and the father dissolves into light, entering from the Brahma aperture at the crown of the head, and dissolving into the 'ཨཿ' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari ah, Sanskrit Romanized ah, seed syllable) at the throat. Again, please have this aspiration: In the center of the wheel of enjoyment at your throat, the lama, the speech essence of the yidam --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
