Shamba Kagyu Teachings NG5: The Sequence of Instructions from the Rosary of the Noble Mutik The Sequence of Instructions from the Rosary of the Noble Mutik The Practice of the Rosary of the Noble Mutik The Sequence of Instructions from the Rosary of the Noble Mutik. Homage to all the venerable Lamas! With body, speech, and mind in reverence, I shall write down the oral instructions of the wisdom Dakini Niguma. Those who wish to practice the Rosary of the Noble Mutik should sit in a secluded place on a comfortable cushion, with the body in the seven-point posture of Vairochana. With the arising of Bodhicitta as a preliminary, instantly generate yourself as glorious Chakrasamvara, and clearly establish the Three Roots. Then, within the Rasana nadi on the right, visualize the sixteen vowels (ཨཱ་ལི་བཅུ་དྲུག,梵文天城体:अलि,梵文罗马拟音:ali, vowels) in a row, like a string of beads, appearing white. Within the Lalana nadi on the left, visualize the thirty-two consonants (ཀཱ་ལི་སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གཉིས,梵文天城体:कलि,梵文罗马拟音:kali, consonants) like fragments of coral, appearing red. Visualize these two as being of the nature of light, melting into the nadi, experiencing bliss. When reaching the place where the three nadis meet below the navel, the two nadis on the right and left meet at the open mouth of the Avadhuti nadi, visualize them curving and entering into it. The letters emerge from the two nadis, going upwards within the Avadhuti nadi, swirling red and white, until at the navel, in the Emanation Wheel, visualize the precious palace of the nadi, which is the three-cornered nadi knot. Visualize the three-cornered Dharma source, white on the outside and red on the inside, as one. The letters swirl within the Dharma source, swirling red and white, the letters dissolving into light. From the light, gradually generate the Noble Mar, from the ankles downwards, to the knees, both thighs, the waist, the chest, both hands, the throat, and the head, clearly and distinctly. Visualize her with one face and two arms, her body red, her face with a wrathful smile, slightly baring her fangs, her three eyes gazing intently. Adorned with a crown of five dry skulls and a necklace of fifty dry skulls. Adorned with the five bone ornaments. Her right hand holds a vajra chopper, the blade pointing inwards, held at the level of her shoulder. Her left hand holds a skull cup filled with blood at her heart. She carries a khatvanga in her armpit. Naked, with loose hair, her body full and her breasts protruding. Her right leg is bent and her left leg is extended, residing in a dancing posture within the Dharma source. Young and beautiful, dwelling in the midst of blazing flames. Visualize everything as appearing but without inherent existence, like a reflection in a mirror. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Visualize it as an image, or as clear and transparent as the moon in the water. Recite the two Oṃs (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning): ཨོཾ་,ॐ,oṃ,Oṃ; ཨོཾ་,ॐ,oṃ,Oṃ, of the three-linked mantra as much as possible. 1-46 If you feel tired, gradually lower the curved knife in your right hand and place it inside the skull cup in your left hand. Stir the nectar in the skull cup with the curved knife, visualizing the skull cup transforming into light and dissolving into the curved knife. The curved knife transforms into light and dissolves into the Jetsunma. The Jetsunma transforms into light and vanishes from the edges to the center, like breathing on a mirror. In this state, simultaneously rest in the unborn Mahāmudrā (Great Seal). Maintain this state for as long as possible. If you feel tired, arise as the Jetsunma from emptiness and engage in daily activities. Afterward, dedicate the merit to Bodhi. By practicing in this way without interruption, external obstacles, evil spirits, internal obstacles, the four aggregates, and secret obstacles, afflictions, will not be able to intrude, and the qualities of Dharma will arise, increase, etc., in your own continuum, resulting in immeasurable benefits. If you are performing the close retreat of this practice, the method is as before. Meditate on the Jetsunma, reciting: Oṃ Sarva Buddha La Sūṃ Bṛ Ya (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning): ཨོཾ་སརྦ་བུདྡྷ་ལ་སུམ་བརྒྱ།,oṃ sarva buddha la sūṃ bṛ ya,Oṃ, all, Buddha, give, three hundred. Vajra Vairocana La Sūṃ Bṛ Ya (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning): བཛྲ་བཻ་རོ་ཙ་ན་ལ་སུམ་བརྒྱ།,vajra vairo cana la sūṃ bṛ ya,Vajra, Vairocana, give, three hundred. Vajra Varṇa Ni La Sūṃ Bṛ Ya (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning): བཛྲ་ཝརྞ་ནི་ལ་སུམ་བརྒྱ་སྟེ།,vajra varṇa ni la sūṃ bṛ ya,Vajra, color, give, three hundred, for a total of nine hundred times. Then add two Oṃs (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning): ཨོཾ་,ॐ,oṃ,Oṃ; ཨོཾ་,ॐ,oṃ,Oṃ, up to one hundred thousand times. This practice has great blessings and is very profound and secret. When extracting the essence by relying on the deity's body. 1-47 Visualize yourself clearly as the deity, and in the Vajra Jewel Vase, there is a white bindu (drop) radiating five colors of light. Visualize the five colors of light radiating from the bindu illuminating your entire body, filling your entire body with the five colors of light. All parts of your body are shimmering with the nature of the five colors of light, purifying the outer flesh and blood, and purifying the inner veins, organs, etc., so that the five poisons of afflictions are purified. The body of five-colored light manifests as the nature of the five wisdoms, and focus on this. Practice continuously as in the previous session. If cold or hot diseases occur in the body, visualize a black bindu in the Vajra Jewel Vase, and from the bindu, radiate five colors of light, gathering all the diseases in the body, and visualize the diseases being expelled through the urinary and anal passages. In this way, all diseases can be eliminated. At the time of death, when the signs of death appear, earth dissolves into water, and the body becomes heavy and stiff, visualize the white bindu radiating light at the bend of the right ankle, where there is a knot of the vein. Visualize your consciousness as inseparable from the bindu, and then gradually guide the bindu upward from the vein, passing through the ankle, calf, knee, and reaching the large veins of the thigh.
