May it be possible to fully comprehend. May the merit of composing this treatise be shared with all other sentient beings. Secondly, sharing the merit of composing this treatise with all sentient beings: May it be shared. With whom? With all sentient beings without exception. What is to be shared? As mentioned above, prioritizing the joy of seeing the emanation of the Victorious One's son (the emanation of a Bodhisattva) as a virtue, all the merit accumulated by me, the author of this treatise, in composing it in this way. The Meaning of the Conclusion. Thirdly, the meaning of the conclusion has two aspects: indicating the name of the author of the treatise; and indicating the names of the Paṇḍita who proofread it and the translator who translated it. First: The preceptor monk, named Melodious Voice for the Benefit of Others (གཞན་ལ་ཕན་པའི་དབྱངས།), the Solitary One (དགོན་པ་པ་), who has mastered all the words of the Victorious One (the words of the Buddha). Just as a tiger goes into the depths of the forest because of its own faults, with a mind moved by compassion, for the purpose of specifically accomplishing the benefit of sentient beings, he composed this 'Seventy Verses of Aspiration'. Second: Translated, proofread, and finalized by the Indian Abbot Dharmaśrīprabhāva and the group of translators of Glorious Mountain Here it is said: The author of the treatise, Melodious Voice for the Benefit of Others, has the same meaning as the host of heroes. Although many proclaim this, it has not been determined whether it is indeed so. Even so, for the actions of all the heirs of the Victorious One, this treatise by the author who eliminates confusion is truly amazing. Previously, I had not seen or heard of a commentary on this treatise, but encouraged by the words of some great beings, I drew from the teachings of the Victorious One, the treatises of Maitreya, and the works of other qualified scholars and explained them. May this virtuous deed, like a wonderful lotus, not only eliminate my own suffering but also increase the ocean of virtues of those who encourage me. Thus, may the virtuous deeds arising from this composition, like the rays of the young sun, surely nourish the earth like the fertile ground of Maitreya, and may the wish-fulfilling tree of Bodhicitta, with its roots of compassion spreading in all directions, become a good source of nectar for perfect enlightenment and the benefit of others. This was done at the urging of the wise, virtuous, and meritorious Ocean of Virtues (མཁས་བཙུན་ཡོན་ཏན་རྒྱ་མཚོ།), who is highly renowned for the glory of his lineage and ancestry. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
