On the throne of the second Buddha's Dharma kingdom, you are the Dharma king with power. At your feet, I reverently tie your lotus-like feet to the top of my crown, thereby receiving the grace of your propagation of the Dharma. Shakya Chokden (Śākya mchog ldan) with immaculate wisdom, makes a request to you - the sole protector of beings. Vajradhara (རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་，梵文：Vajradhara，梵文罗马拟音：Vajradhāra, meaning 'Holder of the Vajra') of the degenerate age, aren't those brave yoginis who invite you to other pure lands full of compassion? Even so, since you, the venerable one who seems to have transferred from your mind, have been empowered to the Dharma kingdom, the suspicion of lacking compassion is also dispelled. From then on, the great Dharma kingdom will increase like the waxing moon, and the banner of fame with great glory will flutter in all directions. The secret treasury of the guide Vajradhara is open to you, and when the white crown of your father is transferred to your head, why should you be tired of bearing the burden of his unfinished deeds? Therefore, for all of us who need to be tamed, please look upon us with universal compassion for a long time, and deliver us from the ocean of samsara. This letter expresses my unwavering wish, and I offer three tea gifts as a symbol. This letter is respectfully presented on the first day of the waxing moon of a certain month in the Tibetan calendar. Presented to Khachar Bodhisattva Sonam Gyaltsen. At the top of your banner of discernment and faith, your lotus feet dance, so that the Shakya teachings have obtained the blessings of the fortunate eon. You are the vast sky of merit, and at the top of your banner like the seven-horse chariot, the red light of activities radiates in all directions. Therefore, I invite you—the sun of speech. Alas! The Vajra body, Perishes in the sight of the unworthy. The unceasing speech of the perfect Sambhogakaya, Also vanishes in our ears. Your compassion for all beings, Also abandons some places of affection. Some suffer from unbearable, Like the torment of Avici hell. You are skilled at placing your mind, In the secret treasury of the Guru. Whomever prays with devotion, The Guru himself freely grants. What attachment do you have to gatherings and separations? Therefore, the teachings of the Omnipresent (referring to the Guru), And the treasure of the ocean of compassion that is equal to all. With the jointly accomplished banner of fortune and auspiciousness, May the excellent one, be the glory of beings, and remain steadfast. For a long time, the light of your loving teachings, Has repeatedly fallen into the lotus of my hands. You protect with compassion, as you said.
