Collection of Instructions by the Great Scholar Shakya Chokden skc107, which includes some praises and realization biographies such as the Praise to Glorious Saraha. 16-12-1a ༄༅། །A few praises and realization biographies, including the Praise to Glorious Saraha. ༄། །Homage to Glorious Saraha! ༄༅། །A few praises and realization biographies, including the Praise to Glorious Saraha. 16-12-1b ༄༅། །Greetings! Homage to Glorious Saraha! You are the successor to the lineage of the Shakya King (Śākya). You are the prince who surpasses Rāhula (son of the Buddha). You are the Brahmin Rāhula, an excellent Bhikshu (monk). You are proficient in all knowledge, including the Vedas (ancient Indian scriptures). You have perfectly mastered the teachings of the Buddha (the Awakened One). You are able to fully uphold the Buddha's teachings. You are an elder Bhikshu who upholds the Vinaya (monastic discipline). You have long maintained the Buddha's teachings. You are a teacher second only to the Buddha. You are also the Guru of Nāgārjuna (founder of the Madhyamaka school). In this teaching of the Shakya King, You entered the Mantra path (mantra) and attained the state of accomplishment. You are the pioneer of all accomplished ones. This is well known. Thereafter, in the Sutra (scriptures) and Mantra sections, Among the authors of most treatises, You are the pioneer who initiated the tradition and composed treatises. You are the pioneer of all authors. Thereafter, you abide in the realm of immortal nectar (amṛta). You are in the state of Mahamudra (the Great Seal). You do not show birth and death, Nor do you have the creation of leaving and coming. However, you are a Vidyadhara (knowledge holder), walking in the sky. Where do you abide? And where do you go? Your emanations (nirmāṇa) are boundless and inconceivable. Regarding the definite meaning in this teaching, You clarify it through hearing and thinking. Just as Nāgārjuna and Asaṅga (founder of the Yogācāra school) initiated, The two great chariot ways (śiṅg-rta). Regarding the way to experience through meditation, The categories of accomplishment and essence, Are known as two types. The nature of mind (citta) is a wish-fulfilling jewel (cintāmaṇi). Through the three doors of liberation (vimokṣa-mukha), Gradually increase wisdom. Even some authors of treatises, Cannot distinguish the secret instructions, The mechanism of numerous keys. You clearly open and manifest it, Homage to you! The so-called aggregates (skandha), sense bases (āyatana), and elements (dhātu), Are well known in the Abhidharma (philosophical teachings). Apart from these, there is no other existence. In the moment of certainty, The seven consciousnesses (vijñāna) and their retinue, Do not project to any object, From the moment of inward absorption, The nature of mind, the wish-fulfilling jewel, is seen. Even if seen, it is like a blind person, Finding it in a pile of rags. Not separating, holding it extremely dearly, In that moment, the Dharmadhatu (the realm of reality), The boundless knowable (jñeya), The completely revealed secret. The clarifier, glorious Saraha! Squinting, looking at one's own --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
