This extensive explanation of these two verses from the *Madhyamakavatara* (Introduction to the Middle Way), is entitled *Nges Don gyi Nyim Pa'i Me Tog* (The Flower in the Palm of Definitive Meaning). It was composed by Jampal Gawa'i Shenyen (Manjushri, Joyful Friend), who was born in the central region and closely examined the Madhyamaka treatises with discernment, in the auspicious region of Tsang Yeru.
