When Sapa Gunglo Gyatun Sapa Gunglo Gyatun, Sapa Master at the age of eighty-seven) was considering, Jowo Chenpo Jelaqi (ཇོ་བོ་ཆེན་པོ་རྗེ་ལྷ་གཅིག, Jo bo chen po rje lha gcig, Great Lord Jelaqi) was invited to Phobrang Tsenpa (ཕོ་བྲང་བཙུན་པ, Phobrang Tsenpa), and they met in Purang (པུ་རངས, Purang). Jowo Chenpo said, 'You are a Mahapandita (མ་ཧཱ་པཎྜི་ཏ, Mahapandita, great scholar), you know many Dharmas, and you are famous for being proficient in translation, so you must be my translator.' The translator replied, 'I am old and cannot translate. Because my pronunciation is not accurate, it will become an obstacle to the Dharma.' Therefore, he was unwilling to translate the Dharma. Jowo Chenpo said, 'I have a heart, but no tongue,' and then felt frustrated. Then, Tingnak Tso Lotsawa (རྟིང་ནག་ཚོ་ལོ་ཙཱ་བ, rting nag tsho lo tsā ba) did the translation. So, where did he do special practice? In the Zher Monastery (ཞེར་གྱི་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང, zher gyi gtsug lag khang), he vowed to stay in retreat for a year. He wrote a Tibetan Om (དུང་གི་ཡི་གེ་གཅིག, dung gi yi ge gcig) on the outer layer of the door, writing: 'If I, from today until this day next year, generate even a moment of afflicted mind, may the Dakini (མཁའ་འགྲོ་མ, mkha' 'gro ma) punish me!' In the inner layer, he wrote in silver letters (དངུལ་གྱི་ཡི་གེ་གཅིག, dngul gyi yi ge gcig): 'If I, from today until this day next year, am separated from Bodhicitta even for a moment, may the Dakini punish me!' On the inner wall of the temple, he wrote in gold letters (གསེར་གྱི་ཡི་གེ, gser gyi yi ge): 'If I, from today until this day next year, generate even a moment of unspecified mind, may the Dakini punish me!' He wrote the vows on three layers of boundaries and practiced. When the vows were fulfilled, he attained the Samadhi (ཆོས་སྐུ་སྤྲོས་བྲལ་རྡོ་རྗེ་ལྟ་བུའི་ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན, chos sku spros bral rdo rje lta bu'i ting nge 'dzin) of Dharmakaya, which is like an indestructible Vajra. He also did many practices in other special places. Finally, from where did he go to the Dakini Pure Land (མཁའ་སྤྱོད, mkha' spyod)? Some say that he left his body without residue from the spring of Omle (འོམ་ལེ, 'om le), from the stone of Latzidru Do (ལྟ་རྫི་གྲུབ་རྡོ, lta rdzi grub rdo). He practiced there for a year, but he did not leave from there. In Kacheri Winggo (ཁ་ཆེ་རི་ཝིང་གོ, kha che ri wing go), when he was ninety-eight years old, on the seventeenth day of the last month of winter, when the star was in the Horse constellation (སྐར་མ་རྟ་པ, skar ma rta pa), he manifested passing away for the benefit of others. Afterwards, the disciples such as Kajidong Jia (ཀ་བཞི་གདུང་བརྒྱད, ka bzhi gdung brgyad) cremated his body, but there were no relics left, not even as small as a mustard seed shell. In accordance with worldly conventions, three very red relics (རིང་བསྲེལ, ring bsrel) appeared, like fruits and milk. Various thunderous sounds came from the sky. He went to the Dakini Pure Land. After about a month, the local deities who liked the Dharma and were bound by vows, and the worldly deities, often gathered at night at the place of the body offering to cry. Afterwards, on the fifteenth day of the Horse constellation and Pisces, the body was cremated. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In the place of Ursa, rainbows and flowers rained down abundantly, and thereafter, the sounds of lamentation from gods and demons also ceased. The reason being that I asked the great Jowo Rinpoche. The translator (Lotsawa) Jangchub Sempa, with compassion for the gods and demons, then from the realm of the sky, preached the Dharma of impermanence to the gods and demons, placing the demons on the path of Dharma. It is said that from then on, the lamentation ceased. Now, he has been invited by Dakinis with golden armor to the western Sukhavati, standing before the Blessed One Amitabha. As he spoke, he made the gesture of joining his palms. Again, the householder Sbe asked: 'In the land of Zhangzhung, in Kashmir, there will be one with the face of a Bhikshu, who will receive the lineage of the four vows. Following him will lead to the path of liberation.' This is the prophecy. The reincarnation lineage of the translator Rinchen Zangpo, the difficult points were resolved by Kache Dronma, and Jñānaśrī wrote the letters. Finished. In his own homeland of Kashmir, closest to the lineage of the Holy One, I, Zamkhawa, wrote this after consulting with my nephew Sonam Pal Zangpo. Good! Good! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
