Having not fully understood some parts before, he later consulted other Panditas (Sanskrit: Pandita, great scholars) for learning. In addition, he also asked that great Lama (Tibetan: Bla-chen, great master) about the 'Abhidharmakosa' (Sanskrit: Abhidharmakosa, Treasury of Knowledge), 'Vinaya-sutra-mula' (Sanskrit: Vinaya-sutra-mula, Root Sutra of the Vinaya), 'Pratimoksha-sutra' (Sanskrit: Pratimoksha-sutra, Sutra of Individual Liberation), and the Bhikshu's 'Karma' (Sanskrit: Karma, Action), etc., all related to the Vinaya. He also asked him about the commentary on the 'Sri Kalachakra' (Sanskrit: Sri Kalachakra, Glorious Wheel of Time), the 'Vimalaprabha' (Sanskrit: Vimalaprabha, Stainless Light), twelve thousand verses, and its branches. In addition, he also inquired about the 'Chakrasamvara' (Sanskrit: Chakrasamvara, Supreme Bliss), 'Guhyasamaja' (Sanskrit: Guhyasamaja, Secret Assembly) sacred teachings, and the teachings of 'Jnana-pada' (Sanskrit: Jnana-pada, Wisdom Foot), and received the initiations of these teachings, fully comprehending them all. Afterwards, he asked Master Spyi-bo Lha-pa about the 'Astasahasrika-prajnaparamita-sutra' (Sanskrit: Astasahasrika-prajnaparamita-sutra, Eight Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita Sutra) and the commentaries on the 'Twenty Thousand Verse Sutra', as well as the 'Mahayanasamgraha' (Sanskrit: Mahayanasamgraha, Compendium of the Mahayana) and other teachings on conduct, as well as some subtle esoteric instructions of the Tantra, and the teachings of the Kadampa (Tibetan: Bka'-gdams, Kadampa) school, etc. In addition, due to focusing on practice, he became proficient in various samadhis (Sanskrit: Samadhi, meditative absorption), and with the power of deeply understanding the inner and outer dependent origination, he was able to predict some future events. For example, when there were few disciples, he said, 'I will go to a place where the language is different in the future, and it will be of some benefit to the Dharma.' As a result, it happened exactly as he had predicted. In addition, he also showed special signs of pleasing Manjusri (Sanskrit: Manjusri, Gentle Glory), and sometimes during practice, he would generate inconceivable samadhi, completely without mundane thoughts. No matter what he did in the crowd, such as observing, etc., he would not be distracted by other factors, and he possessed inconceivable merits. His blessings were very powerful, and after praying, he was able to fulfill wishes. In short, he was proficient in the five sciences (grammar, logic, arts, medicine, and philosophy), reached the other shore of knowledge, and became a perfect great scholar. Due to obtaining various samadhis of realization, his fame spread in all directions, and he matured and liberated countless beings. In addition, he was also proficient in the three activities of scholars, such as teaching, debating, and writing. This great master is worthy of our respect. Afterwards, at the age of seventy, on the fourteenth day of the last month of the Wood Pig year (Tibetan calendar), he passed away peacefully in Gyasa Jangnorth (Tibetan: rgyal-sa byang-ngos). His biography cannot be described in detail here, and without a doubt, he is the embodiment of Manjusri. Written by Miwang Sonam Rabten (Tibetan: Mi-dbang bsod-nams rab-brtan).

At the celebration, prompted by the inquiries of those seeking knowledge, I tasted with my eloquent tongue, liberating the body of my mind from the decline of doubt, allowing it to flourish. Even if some verses are slightly lacking in ornate language, as long as they do not contradict the meaning, having written a little, I beseech the assemblies of scholars who possess a wealth of words to be patient for a moment and to judge with impartiality. Here, for the sake of refreshing my own memory, and also having been urged by some holy friends, I briefly narrate. May the merit of writing the biographies of glorious Bhadra and other gurus lead to the attainment of supreme accomplishment! This well-obtained work, 'Detailed Vajra,' a biography of the lineage of the gurus of Tibet, having been heard extensively and recorded from the mouth [of the guru], was composed by the Shakya monk Chokyi Gyalpo at the great monastery of Gungtang Nalatse. Thus it is complete. This historical manuscript was offered to the great translator guru, who was pleased and praised it greatly, so receive it with reverence without doubt. Written without additions or deletions by the intelligent Mar from U-Tsang. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
