Pages 201 to 300. Pages 201 to 300. From the Nangsang Dharma Center. In order to ripen the mandala of the Rigdü Tsedrup Padma Gyachen (Lineage Assembly Longevity Practice with Lotus Seal), to generate definite understanding, a brief history is recounted: The great Vidyadhara, during the session of reciting the immortal three-kayas Rigdü, on the morning of the tenth day of the Saga month in the Wood Ox year, due to the sound of mantra arising from the sky, his mind became aimlessly confused. In the sky in front of him, in accordance with the realization of Orgyen Amitayus, appeared vividly in front of him and completely bestowed the empowerment. Afterwards, a vision of the Tibetan woman Tso Gyal, holding a lute in her hand, along with the sound of playing, bestowed the oral instructions, saying: Kyeho! Son of the Dakinis, you and others who appear at the beginning of the text, meditate like this! This profound instruction is extremely secret and for self-experience, it will become the nourishment of life for oneself and others, do not abandon my word, pierce it into your heart, Samaya! After saying this, Guru father and mother dissolved into his heart, and immediately upon arising from that meditative experience, he wrote it down. Adorned with the practice of the profound longevity empowerment lineage, offering the mandala as an introduction to bestowing the empowerment. Recite this prayer to Lama Orgyen Amitayus. Invocation. Sama Jaḥ! Recite the root mantra and the mantra called "Entering Wisdom": Jnana Abeshaya A Ah, bestow blessings. Scatter flowers and stabilize with mantras. For the sake of attracting and collecting life essence, please visualize in this way. In front of me, the Lama Amitayus, the protector, and the deities of the place, including myself, are visualized as clear forms. From their bodies, a multitude of swift goddesses emanate like dust motes in sunlight. Gather all the diminished life and vitality of the disciples, as well as all the essence and energy of samsara and nirvana, animate and inanimate, herbs and medicines, and pour them into their respective vases as substances for accomplishment. By infusing them into the disciples, replenish the diminished life essence of the five elements. May you attain the siddhi of longevity, living to be a hundred years old and seeing a hundred autumns. Wave the arrow banner and say: Hrih! Recite the words for attracting life, such as "Bhagavan Protector Yeshe." The longevity vase in the hands of the Maha Guru Tsiwang Tsal, who is generated in front, bestows empowerment upon the crown of the disciples, and nectar flows from the mouth of the vase, entering through the crown. The body is filled. May the impure aggregates and elements ripen into wisdom, and may you attain a body like the immortal sky and supreme longevity. Hrih! By the intention of the Protector Amitayus, through the goddess Chandali, may the immortal Padmasambhava be blessed, and may we pray to the vidyadharas of longevity in the past, future, and present. Bestow vase empowerment with longevity and wisdom, etc. By tasting the essence pills of immortal accomplishment and the nectar of bodhicitta blended from the immortal father and mother, may you attain youth free from aging and a life free from birth and death. Hrih! Vajra life, etc. To infuse and increase life essence: Visualize the disciple as clear as the deity, filling the realms of samsara and nirvana with light, thereby gathering all life essence and dissolving it into the heart mantra Hrih. Again, the light rays of Hrih transform your own body into a sphere of light. Then, please rest in the nature of the inconceivable, primordial purity. Ah! Armor of emptiness, etc. Again, like a fish leaping from water, arise in the form of Lama Amitayus. May the assembly of deities bestow blessings with showers of flowers and auspicious words. Recite auspicious verses. Thus, the vows of empowerment obtained are the general vows spoken of in the Vajrayana discipline. The specific vows are: As it says in the text:
