༔ May [we] subdue the violent ones! ཧོ༔ Son of the lineage, because you have received the empowerment of the fierce Dharma protector Rahula, may you now immediately become the form of Rahula and become the ally who liberates all enemies and obstructors! Having said this, the student, who is visualized as the yidam, instantly transforms into the form of Rahula. At his heart, visualize a colorful image of Orgyen Padmasambhava. At his heart, visualize a small, white Rahula of wisdom, with one face and two hands joined in prayer. Then, the empowerment of the torma: HRIH! (藏文：ཧྲཱིཿ，梵文天城体：ह्रीः，梵文罗马拟音：hrīḥ，汉语字面意思：具大悲) In order to protect the Buddha's teachings, and in order to worship the assembly of Dharma protectors, by empowering with this torma, may the four activities be accomplished! At the time of empowerment, contemplate that all activities of desires are accomplished without beginning or end, as before. At that time, contemplate that all diseases and evil spirits of the patient's body emanate from the crown of the head like smoke from a hole, dissolving into the mouths of the retinue of Rahula and the seven planets of the torma, so that the disciple's body is clear, bright, and free from all impurities. The disciple recites: OM KETA KETA SVAHA. The master recites: OM RAHULA KETA KETA MAHA BALINTA KHA KHA KHAHI KHAHI. Other commands are as before, and at the end, express the entrustment to pacify diseases and evil spirits. Recite wrathful mantras of the secret lord and other yidams as appropriate. The sage and retinue of the torma vanish like a rainbow into the expanse of the sky. Contemplate that the secret lord above dissolves into the disciple, and take pride in thinking that the disciple has become the secret lord himself. Recite: OM VAJRA KRODHA RAKSHA RAKSHA HUM PHAT to perform protection, and auspicious words and offerings are similar to the common ritual. Send the torma in the direction it is to be sent. At that time, if the torma falls, breaks, ornaments fall off, or the arrow banner falls, it is a bad omen, and rituals should be performed vigorously. For individual disciples, it is permissible to bestow the life empowerment as before. If it becomes necessary to bestow the life empowerment on ordinary disciples, it can be accomplished by performing a simple torma command after the fire empowerment is completed. Furthermore, if one requests it for the sake of seeking peace and eliminating obstacles, the need can be accomplished by performing only the torma empowerment. In particular, bestowing the profound life empowerment in the manner of those with impure lineages and those who have not entered the Dharma gate is not beneficial to the recipient and will bring disciplinary punishment upon oneself. Even if it is necessary to perform only the torma empowerment for temporary benefit, it is better to combine the single torma empowerment with the elaboration of words, which will reduce faults. Moreover, the main one is peaceful, and the one with retinue is wrathful, so one should also know the timing of its acceptance and rejection. It is said that there is a difference between the depth and shallowness of visualizing the torma itself as a deity and visualizing the deity in the sky above it. With unstoppable power and incomparable transformations, as commanded by Vajradhara.
