Tiger Riding Nup Tradition Sadhana with Empowerment Tiger Riding Nup Tradition Sadhana with Empowerment Oṃ Svasti! The power and form of all Buddhas, manifesting through fierce dances, I respectfully bow to the Protector Tiger Rider, and briefly write down his sadhana. Here, the empowerment related to the Tiger Riding Nup Tradition sadhana has three parts: the arrangement of preparatory materials, the actual method of practice, and the empowerment ritual. First, the arrangement of materials: In a secluded place, on special occasions such as the twenty-ninth day, in front of the supports such as painted images, arrange a dark blue triangular mandala, placing torma offerings according to the number of deities. In the center, place the torma deity image, adorned with a black arrow banner. Surround it with offering tormas and other samaya substances. Arrange all necessary materials completely. Second, the method of practice: Generate oneself as the Lord of Secrets, or abide in the yoga of any chosen wrathful deity. Bless the common and special offerings. Generate the front visualization, perform cleansing and purification. From emptiness, on the ground of a great charnel ground, from E (ཨེ,E, seed syllable) arises a dark blue burning dharma source, within which, on a lotus and sun disc, the dark blue Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ, seed syllable) radiates light. Subjugate all enemies and obstacles. Gathering back and completely transforming into the glorious Wisdom Protector Tiger Rider Black, his body color as black as the clouds at the end of an eon. Mouth open, teeth gnashing. Three eyes rolling fiercely, hair, beard, and eyebrows blazing. Right hand raising a great sandalwood club into the sky, left hand drinking from an iron bowl filled with blood. Wearing a nine-layered black cloak, bound with a golden belt. Wearing Sakti boots. Adorned with a dry skull crown, a necklace of wet skulls. A black snake binds the hair. Adorned with golden earrings and so forth. Riding a fierce great tiger, and leading a lion in play. An iron hawk hovers on the head, jackals, wolves, bears, and wild boars follow behind. Residing in the midst of blazing flames. On the left, from Bhyo (བྷྱོ,Bhyo, seed syllable) arises a red-black goddess, holding a divination board and a disease bag. Riding a three-legged iron mule, residing in the midst of a black whirlwind. To the right of the father and mother, is the body messenger, the blue-grey life-force lord, holding a trident in his right hand.

A victory banner with a human corpse impaled on its top, and the left hand brandishing a black flag as a military standard. On the left, the speech-related Mönpa butcher, red-black, blowing a left-spiraling buffalo horn, while the right hand binds oath-breakers with a phurba and a lasso. In front, the mind-related Mönpa, a black dwarf, holding a razor in his right hand and a human heart in his left. Furthermore, there are flesh-eating Mönpas, blood-drinking Mönpas, life-cutting Mönpas, soul-summoning Mönpas, heart-extracting Mönpas, peg-planting Mönpas, and life-stealing Mönpas, all with the appearance of practitioners, the right hand holding swords and various weapons, and the left hand holding a skull cup filled with blood.
