He said, "Rest a little." The true meaning, because it is separate from the realm of mental activity, although it exists in a state of unborn, pure, self-arisen, and self-illuminating, because there is no need to deliberately meditate, but to experience it as self-illuminating, there is no need to grasp it with the mind. There is no need for a sharp mind; let the mind rest. The wisdom of equality has no size. The mind of the Buddha and the mind of sentient beings, initially, the cause is Bodhicitta, they are one. In the middle, enlightenment leads to Buddhahood; non-enlightenment leads to wandering in samsara. The essence of mind itself is free from elaboration, clear and bright, empty and void, nothing at all. Clear and unobstructed, bright and radiant, this is the intention of the Buddha, so there is no need to realize it from elsewhere; realization leads to certainty. The meaning of Dharmata, because it cannot be grasped in words and letters, is free from the extremes of elaboration. The instructions have no letters, drawings, or books, so there is no elaboration to cut off. If you realize it in this way, it doesn't matter if your wisdom is small, it doesn't matter if your mind is dull, it doesn't matter if your understanding is poor, there is no need for a broad mind; the certainty of realization lies in this, and the word lineage corresponds to the meaning. The boundary of elaboration through hearing and thinking is what decides it. Becoming a Buddha in this life without abandoning the body is also in this. Practice in this way. In general, for a woman like you, even if you are told, you don't understand; even if you are shown, you don't see; even if you are taught, you don't listen; you cannot keep secrets, but you are eager to seek the Dharma. The Dharma is not in your heart, but you have false appearances. The Dharma for women is difficult, so don't deceive yourself; practice diligently!" Shelkar Dorje Tso asked, "Great Teacher, I am like a woman, because my faculties are poor, I cannot practice diligently, so please teach me an instruction for attaining Buddhahood by lying down." The teacher gave the instruction: "Listen, Shelkar, the meaning of Dharmata is clear in your own mind, so it is okay to lie down. What is the true meaning of Dharmata? It is the self-mind, clear and unobstructed, naturally arising. There is no need to seek it elsewhere. Recognizing that the wisdom of equality is self-arisen and uninterrupted, it is okay to lie down. The power of the mind's awareness manifests in various ways, so whatever moving thoughts arise, the meaning of Dharmata will naturally arise and naturally subside, so wisdom will not be interrupted. The meaning of realization lies in practice and

Since there is nothing to seek, it is enough to sleep. For such a Dharma nature, there is nothing to meditate on or accomplish. It is inherently present within oneself. All actions and efforts are bound by the rope of desire, so the fruit cannot be attained from elsewhere through effort and practice. In the state of realizing the Dharma nature, rest without support in the awareness of equality. If you can sleep after realizing this, that is what is called a Buddha. There is no fear of being born in samsara, so it is said. In general, you, who are like a woman, cannot be left alone, nor can you stay. You remember many things that are not entrusted to you, but you do not remember even a moment of the Dharma that is entrusted to you. If you are asked to look at the meaning of your own mind, you cannot look even for a moment. You cling to looking at your own appearance, which is unnecessary to look at. You have no ability to practice meditation, but you exert yourself in meaningless things, like the words of a blind man, or the saliva of an old ox. I have not seen the Dharma of women reach its ultimate conclusion. He said to Rem, you should still be diligent in the Dharma. The offering place of Jowo Ropa Zapal asked the teacher. Great teacher, I am like a woman. Pages 379 to 478.
