The profound essence of the three roots, the method of how to practice the outer, inner, and secret sadhana of the Lotus Dakini, called "A Bunch of Lotus Rubies." Padma Gar gyi Wangchuk. The profound essence of the three roots, the method of how to practice the outer, inner, and secret sadhana of the Lotus Dakini, called "A Bunch of Lotus Rubies." Padma Gar gyi Wangchuk. The profound essence of the three roots. The method of how to practice the outer, inner, and secret sadhana of the Lotus Dakini, called "A Bunch of Lotus Rubies," resides herein. Namo Guru Padma Dakiniye. Possessing the youthfulness of uncontaminated bliss. I prostrate to the co-emergent beauty. The method of practicing that very yoga. Explaining what arises from the treasury of space. In order to benefit the manifestation of extremely profound instructions, it is considered important to have an unbroken lineage, and in order to make meaningful what the incomparable great treasure master himself bestowed as the nature of great compassion. Apart from the instructions with secret seals, in order to clearly explain how to practice those that are indicated directly or indirectly, there are four parts: preliminary accumulation, main practice of recitation and accomplishment, sharpening the protectors, and enumeration of the concluding activities. The first part has three: the practitioner, the method of practice, and the actual accumulation of the substances to be accomplished. First, the individual who practices is: generally, having received the empowerment and blessings, both common and uncommon, of the three roots and especially of this particular practice, abiding by the vows, and having previously performed the recitation and accomplishment of the three roots. The vows for practicing this are: possessing the vows of a lay follower or higher. In particular, abandoning the taking of life and striving for virtue. Giving the four means of attraction and the four kinds of giving, either actually or mentally. Respecting all women in one's mind, and especially not employing as companions or attendants those whose names contain "Tara." Not picking flowers of the red color family, and striving for prostration, offerings, and praise in places where Tara resides, etc., as stated in the Distinctions. The essential vows are: that no one knows that this practice is being done, and that no one sees the substances to be accomplished, from the preparation to the mixtures, etc. If one is a mantra practitioner, not associating with women during the practice. It is said to be extremely important to have a fixed order of sessions and speech restrictions, and not to be overcome by attachment and desire. Second, the method of practice has five: mind...

Circumstances, time, place, companion, conduct. First, even if one performs pacifying activities with selfish intentions and only for trivial purposes, the work will not be accomplished because one's mind is controlled by appearances. Even if it seems that a little is accomplished, the result of practicing the mantra of the wisdom deity is exhausted on trivial matters. Understand that this is like turning sandalwood into charcoal. Therefore, do not be concerned with whether the work is accomplished or not, but only strive with the intention of cultivating bodhicitta. Before gaining stability in the signs of warmth from practice, do not greedily pursue activities. Even when the time comes to engage in activities, if you do so for the sake of the guru or the Dharma, rather than for your own selfish desires, whatever you undertake will be quickly accomplished. These actions will also become a collection for attaining enlightenment, and your own benefit will come along the way. However, nowadays, due to the influence of the times, the pursuit of wealth, power, and curses fill the ears, and whatever is heard is held as a treasure in the heart and made the core of practice. Not to mention benefiting oneself and others, it is difficult to even make a comfortable living by relying on these. Therefore, do not let superficial virtuous deeds exhaust the three doors; this is the beginning of all important matters. Second, regarding time, the special time is the eighth day of the middle spring month (Tibetan calendar), or any auspicious eighth day. Furthermore, all auspicious days are supreme, and all eighth days with the four guardian deities as the main focus are important days. Therefore, one should begin practice on these days. Third, regarding place, the land is red, the mountain peaks are sharp, and it is said to sit under a tree free from sorrow. Even if it is not possible to do this in reality, one should first visualize oneself sitting at the base of a lush Ashoka tree. The secret place is to be known from the oral instructions. Fourth, regarding companions, in general, rely on someone who is compatible with your mind, possesses the qualities of subjugation, and can keep secrets. Special cases are to be obtained from the oral instructions. Fifth, regarding conduct, hats, clothes, cushions, etc., are red. Draw a crescent-shaped tilaka on the forehead with the juice of madder. Chew on the intoxicating fruit called "poso," face west, and sit in the lotus posture. These are all from Indian texts.
