The Pema Dakini Empowerment from the Profound Essence of the Three Roots: A Compilation of the Mandala Arrangement for the Empowerment Ritual of the Goddess of Power, The Pema Ragaya Vase. The Activity of Padma Garwang. This is the compilation of the mandala arrangement for the empowerment ritual of the Goddess of Power, the Pema Dakini, from the Profound Essence of the Three Roots, called "The Pema Ragaya Vase." Namo Guru Padma Dakiniye. (Tibetan: ན་མོ་གུ་རུ་པདྨ་ཌཱ་ཀི་ནཱི་ཡཻ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: नमो गुरु पद्म डाकिनीयै, Sanskrit Romanized: namo guru padma ḍākinīyai, Literal Chinese meaning: Homage to the Guru, Lotus Dakini). The radiance of discriminating wisdom's attachment, The power to instantly attract the three realms, The ever-increasing Hero Heruka, I respectfully bow to that Union. May the essential teachings flourish, And the precious rain of the Teachers' intentions, Fall from the umbrella of the perfect cloud. Writing the empowerment of the Dakini of Power. If a yogi who has previously completed the approach and accomplishment wishes to bestow the profound empowerment to a worthy disciple who has received the ripening empowerments of the three roots, then in a pleasing place adorned with decorations, on a red platform, place a painted mandala or, if that is not available, clusters of red flowers, nine in the center and eight directions, and four on the outer four sides, for a total of thirteen. On top of that, on a support, place a copper vase filled with alcohol and common and special substances, with a red ribbon tied around its neck. On top of that, place a skull cup with auspicious markings, filled with molasses, honey, and intoxicants, covered with a mirror smeared with sindhura, sealed with the syllable (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanized: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: hrīḥ) written in a counterclockwise direction. On top of that, respectfully place a special painted image containing mantras, and cover it with a red silk curtain. Behind it, arrange a torma for the empowerment, made of a mixture of foods, alcohol, and spices, with twelve surrounding it, each with its own form or hook, adorned with red flower iron hooks and a red silk umbrella. To the right and left, arrange amrita and rakta. Arrange the outer offerings in a clockwise direction. Also prepare torma offerings for the general Damchen and the Dharma protectors, the Great Goddess and her consort. Prepare the action vase, the tsok implements, chad ten (ransom), and the two kinds of obstacle-removing tormas, as convenient. Also, gather all other necessary items. Then, if one is only accepting common disciples by giving a brief explanation of the empowerment, one generates oneself as the three roots, and generates and recites the single Mother deity as the main deity and retinue in the front generation outer practice.
