Behind that, draw an eight-petaled red lotus. In front, facing inward, write the ten syllables. Outside of that, write the general and specific mantras for subjugation. Outside of that, write the vowels. Outside of that, write the consonants. Outside of that, write the mantra of dependent origination. Behind that, draw a hook and a lotus. Behind that, draw a mountain of fire. Nard. Rock essence. Musk. Fine fragrance. Red sandalwood. Coral. On crystal, write A (藏文：ཨ，梵文天城体：अ，梵文罗马拟音：a，汉语字面意思：阿). Tārā's attribute, a hook marked with a lotus, should be made of copper. The tip should be made very sharp.
