For ashes, praise with "Tepa Tepa Krina Dzali Bhyo (Tibetan: ཏེ་པ་ཏེ་པ་ཀྲི་ན་ཛ་ལི་བྷྱོཿ)", mix with sand, and scatter around the edges and center of the field to ward off harm. ༈ །།To protect against mouse damage, write a mantra on a piece of wheat stalk or juniper wood. Recite many mantras over river sand. Take the wood piece and sand before dawn, without them being seen by dogs or women. Plant the wood piece in the center of the field and scatter the sand. The mantra is: "Om Kyumale Kyumale Jungpo, turn the mouth of the mouse elsewhere (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཀྱུ་མ་ལེ་ཀྱུ་མ་ལེ་འབྱུང་པོ་བྱི་འུའི་མཆུ་ཁ་གཞན་ལ་སྒྱུར་ཅིག )". Or: "Om Tingshe Tingshe Purlong Purlong, bind the mouth of the harmful bird (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཏིང་ཤེ་ཏིང་ཤེ་ཕུར་ལོང་ཕུར་ལོང་གནོད་བྱེད་བྱེའུ་ཁ་ཆིངས་ཤིག )". Write and recite either one or both. When writing, write in Uchen script without punctuation marks. ༈ །To protect houses and crops from mouse damage, recite many times over white mustard seeds: "Om Naga Shavanan (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ནཱ་ག་ཤ་བ་ནན།), Om Rashu Tsutsu Ruru Svaha (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ར་ཤུ་ཙུ་རུ་ཙུ་རུ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།)", and then scatter them in the mouse holes, so that the mice will flee far away. ༈ །The secret to a good harvest is the preparation of fertilizer: nectar radiance, pigeon droppings, rotten grass, and soaked barley, mix these with the urine of an eight-year-old girl, and then recite "Om Ah Dhari Ratna Jambhe Mohe Siddhi Svaha (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿདྷཱ་རི་རཏྣ་ཛཾ་བྷེ་མོ་ཧེ་སིདྡྷི་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ आः धारि रत्न जंभे मोहे सिद्धि स्वाहा, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ āḥ dhāri ratna jaṃbhe mohe siddhi svāhā, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om, Ah, Holder, Jewel, Jambhe, Mohe, Accomplishment, Svaha)" for three nights, and then sprinkle it on the fertilizer. Thus, from the Kama, Terma, and Dag Snang Dharma traditions, countless beneficial instructions for crops have been taught, but here, a few very concise and easy-to-practice instructions have been compiled. For those yogis who have good bodhicitta, have completed the recitation of the deity, and have gained some clarity in meditation, even this much will accomplish the goal.
