When there is no rain, the clouds universally cover everything. Limitless cloud forms and great clouds, all perfectly accomplish the glory of the clouds of Jambudvipa, radiant with glory, possessing the light of clouds. Shakya Simha and the Dragon King Victorious, and others in the ten directions of the world, the Sugatas possessing the great clouds of Maitreya, all without exception, I request to come to this place. Possessing a crown with a radiant jewel ornament, together with the retinue of the Naga King who holds jewels on their crowns, please descend to this place. I respectfully offer, praise, and prostrate. By the truth of the Buddha, I earnestly urge the Nagas, remember the power and strength of the Three Jewels. Naga King Bodhisattvas, please send down great rains upon this Jambudvipa. Please make the plants, crops, and fruits flourish. To the Eight Classes of beings, the lords of Jambudvipa, together with their retinues, and to the gods, nagas, and earth lords dwelling in this land, I offer clouds of incense that produce all desires. May you be pleased and satisfied, and possess loving-kindness. The Sugata with the ten powers, together with his sons, in the clear vision as if directly in front of us, I respectfully prostrate and confess my non-virtuous deeds and sins. With compassion for all suffering beings, please remember your solemn vows at this time.
