For the sake of subduing the four enemies at the border, There is a method for accomplishing the subjugation of the arrogant. If there is no time due to busy distractions, There is a concise ritual, the blazing jewel. Towards the deities, gurus, and instructions, Those who lack faith and devotion, And the scholars who are deceitful and empty, Spreading the instructions will ruin the kingdom. Therefore, there are vows and seals. One tantra and six instructions, This possessing the seven precious royal powers, Accomplished the intention of Trisong Detsen. Arranged into two forms, mother letters and son letters. One was pierced into the heart of the king, The king's dominion flourished, Tibet was happy, All the lords and subjects went to the higher realms. One was buried as a precious treasure, When the dregs of time arise, Even if the king's laws collapse and scatter, There will be internal wars and conflicts among the tribes. Ten signs of the decline of merit will appear. The king's authority cannot be suppressed, The subjects will revolt against the lord. Due to the decline of the taming laws and teachings, The monks will indulge in afflictions. Due to the increase in broken secret mantra vows, The teachers and students will fight internally. There will also be distortion and misuse of the Dharma. Women will engage in prostitution. Food will be eaten as meat and blood. Actions will be bold in sin. Shameless and bold in sin, Thus, various evil deeds are done. The country and region will be obscured by shadows of dust. The five leading deities will flee outwards. The local deities and Dharma protectors will become demons. All the gods and demons above and below will be in turmoil. Virulent diseases will burn like fire. Pestilence will fall like rain. Border wars will erupt like floods. Suffering will be unbearable. At that time, for the sake of compassion for Tibet, This treasure of the mind of Orgyen, Will meet with one destined being. When the destined being meets with the treasure, They will generate diligent, swift bodhicitta. The happiness and suffering of Tibet will cease. The six border wars will erupt. Tibet will suffer hardships. Weapons will fall like rain. Shells and fire will come. The sentient beings of Tibet will be close to extinction.
