对于命根的观察。第三，对于梦的观察，共有三点。第一点：仔细观察命根的封印是否破损。这又分为：观察外部骨骼，观察内部血清，观察秘密气味，共有三点。第一点：骨骼油润且紧密，光滑且沉重者为佳。干净且疏松，粗糙且发红，轻且小者为劣。特别是腿部出现皱纹、裂纹、黄色斑点、毛发纹路则不吉，没有出现则极为吉祥。第二点，观察内部血清：血清的管道位于上方则吉，位于下方则凶，位于中间则一般。对此还要仔细观察颜色：血清发红则吉，发黄则一般，发黑则凶。第三点，观察秘密气味：有油味、脂肪味、药味等好气味则吉祥。有病味、尸臭味、腐臭味等恶气味则凶险，应仔细辨别。第二，观察青稞粒：放入命根中的青稞，比原来多则吉，少则凶，保持原样则一般，没有问题。颜色也保持原来的颜色，白色等为佳，黑色等为劣。第三，观察梦境：自己或供养者的梦中，梦到佩戴绿松石，穿新衣服，梦到金刚杵，海螺，雍仲符号等，则极为吉祥。像这样，如果所有征兆都吉祥，则极为吉祥。一半吉祥一半凶险则一般，可以不用重做。如果凶险的征兆多，则需要重新做三次。如果征兆吉祥，则将命根绿松石与身体不离不弃地佩戴，将命根的肉处理好，不要散落，与食物一起，用糌粑进行祭祀。这是大学者斯盖巴多吉所著的《命根赎回十三法》的古籍为基础，加上深奥的实践经验进行补充，整理成易懂的形式，愿利益众生。如具法的兴盛生活如山王，愿命、寿命的金刚柱，成为不可动摇的稳固基础，愿所有与之相关者，从死亡的恐惧中解脱。虽然像盐巴一样普及于所有高低贵贱之人，但符合经典的实修却很少见，因此将根本原文原封不动地保留下来，希望能利益他人。

Examining the life-force. Third, examining dreams, which has three aspects. First: Carefully examine whether the seal of the life-force is broken. This is further divided into: examining the outer bones, examining the inner serous fluid, and examining the secret odor, which are three aspects. First: Bones that are oily and compact, smooth and heavy are good. Clean and porous, rough and red, light and small are bad. In particular, if wrinkles, cracks, yellow spots, and hair patterns appear on the legs, it is inauspicious; if they do not appear, it is extremely auspicious. Second, examining the inner serous fluid: If the duct of the serous fluid is located at the top, it is good; if it is located at the bottom, it is bad; if it is located in the middle, it is average. Furthermore, examine the color in detail: If the serous fluid is red, it is good; if it is yellow, it is average; if it is black, it is bad. Third, examining the secret odor: If there are good odors such as oily odor, fatty odor, and medicinal odor, it is auspicious. If there are bad odors such as sick odor, corpse odor, and putrid odor, it is inauspicious, so examine carefully. Second, examining the barley grains: If the barley grains placed in the life-force are more than before, it is good; if they are less, it is bad; if they remain the same, it is average and there is no problem. The color should also remain the same, white and so on are good, black and so on are bad. Third, examining dreams: If oneself or the patron dreams of wearing turquoise, wearing new clothes, dreaming of a vajra, conch shell, yungdrung symbol, etc., it is extremely auspicious. Like this, if all signs are auspicious, it is extremely auspicious. If half are auspicious and half are inauspicious, it is average and it is okay not to repeat. If there are many inauspicious signs, it needs to be repeated three times. If the signs are auspicious, then the life-force turquoise should be worn inseparable from the body, and the flesh of the life-force should be handled well so that it does not scatter, and together with food, offer a flour oblation. This is based on the ancient text of "The Thirteen Methods of Life-Force Retrieval" composed by the great scholar Sgegpa Dorje, supplemented with profound practical experience, and arranged in an easy-to-understand form, may it benefit all beings. May the prosperous life with Dharma be like the king of mountains, may the vajra pillar of life and life-force become an unshakable and stable foundation, and may all those connected to it be liberated from the fear of death. Although it is as common as salt to all high and low, it is rare to see practical application in accordance with the scriptures, therefore, the root text itself is preserved intact as it appears to be an unbroken lineage, hoping to benefit others.
