Bestow the great blessing of longevity empowerment. This profound instruction, praised for dispelling obstacles to the activity of longevity, has two parts: the method of practice and the acceptance of disciples. Firstly, if practicing for one's own benefit, it is good to connect with the activity. In front, arrange a longevity arrow or a red wrathful torma, whichever is appropriate. Prepare outer and inner offerings and tormas, and gather the necessary equipment for the tsok. The preliminary practice of refuge and bodhicitta is: Hrih! I take refuge in the immortal deity of longevity. I pray for protection from the fear of untimely death. Accomplish the qualities of the essence of the immortal instructions. May all beings attain the glory of pacifying suffering! Recite three times. The command to cut off is: After commonly blessing and dedicating the obstacle-removing torma, Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ! Whatever obstacles to longevity arise from past karma or present circumstances, may you be satisfied with this ransom and go elsewhere! May myself and others be under the protection of Amitayus. May we not transgress the vows of immortal protection! Recite the root mantra and Oṃ Sumba Nī, etc. Oṃ Hūṃ Trāṃ Hrīḥ Āḥ Vajra Rakṣa Rakṣa Hūṃ! The descent of blessing is: Hrih! The peaceful and wrathful assembly of yidams of the three times and ten directions, with compassion, bestow the great blessing of longevity empowerment and accomplishment.
