Here, desiring to perform the ritual of dispelling curses, therefore, like the essence of the practice, clear as light, prepare the necessary materials and accomplish the vase, etc., beforehand. In order to accomplish the activity of dispelling curses for the benefit of others, place the one to be worked upon in front of oneself on a black triangle, bind with colored thread, place a Sāñcā (Sanskrit: sāñcā, Tsa-Tsa) on the head, and recite these words. Alas, here, desiring to perform the sequence of dispelling curses, first generate certainty through history, and the actual ritual, two aspects. The first has three, from the ritual sequence of the Vidyadhara Lord: The signs of curses, how they arise, generate faith in the key instructions, a pure lineage of origin, explain the benefits of dispelling curses. Not wanting to recite mantras, reciting them unclearly, practicing but having little power and many obstacles, being angry and irritable, feeling unhappy, the generation stage not being clear, the body feeling heavy and dull, wearing unclean clothes, dreaming of going to unclean swamps, going to the continent of carrying corpses, dreaming of sick people vomiting, dreaming of sinking or going to muddy swamps of lakes and springs, falling under a large ravine, almost being washed away, dreaming of a mountain collapsing, dreaming of entering a deep cave, actually being absent-minded and not focusing, feeling that body, speech, and mind are suppressed, bound, and tied, like an internal conflict occurring, not recognizing people in dreams, dreaming of Monpas and Acharyas attacking oneself, dreaming of stone rain and hail, dreaming of being stabbed by arrows, spears, and knives, black wind raging, dreaming of a landslide from a steep mountain, dreaming of being surrounded by an army, these are signs of being cursed. Dreaming of being surrounded by many armies, monks, and armies of Bonpo mantra practitioners, dreaming of being chased by wild animals and black birds, actually having one's clothes cut by a knife, ominous creatures appearing, dreaming of women and many people putting empty saddles on yaks, horses, mules, and donkeys and sleeping towards oneself, if these signs happen to oneself, it is a sign that others have cast spells on oneself, these are all signs of being cursed.
