Oral Transmission Hayagriva Repelling the Five Powerful Deities' Activities, Including Empowerment, Completely Destroying All Harm. Oral Transmission Hayagriva Repelling the Five Powerful Deities' Activities, Including Empowerment, Completely Destroying All Harm. Tennyi Yungdrung Lingpa. Oral Transmission Hayagriva Repelling the Five Powerful Deities' Activities, Including Empowerment, Completely Destroying All Harm, is the title. Namo Gurave. The five wisdom bodies blaze forth as mudras, perfecting the power of the five poisons, subduing evil spirits. I prostrate to the powerful deity who subdues, and easily record the ripening activities. When practicing the sadhana of the five blood-drinking, powerful deities, prepare. Only for self-generation, arrange medicine, rakta, and the three tormas, and external offerings. Even when these are not available, samadhi is sufficient. Activities have three parts: preliminary, main, and subsequent. First, the preliminary begins with refuge: Namo! The body of the assembled gurus and sugatas, the essence of the Three Jewels, I and all sentient beings of the six realms, take refuge until enlightenment. Generating bodhicitta: Generating bodhicitta for the sake of all beings, having practiced the guru Buddha, vowing to liberate beings through activities that subdue whatever needs to be subdued. Accumulating merit: May the assembly of gurus, yidams, and deities descend, and sit upon the seats of the sun, moon, and lotus. I respectfully prostrate with body, speech, and mind, offering outer, inner, and secret offerings. I confess and purify downfalls, sins, and obscurations, rejoice in practicing secret mantras, pray to turn the wheel of maturing and liberating secret mantra dharma, pray not to pass into nirvana but to remain. Dedicating the essence for the benefit of sentient beings, may I realize the meaning of the true vajra. Expelling obstacles: Hum! Through the blessings of the gurus, the samadhi of the yidam deities, and the power and abilities of the dakinis, may the obstacles that hinder accomplishment, and the hordes of demons that lead astray, not remain here but depart elsewhere! Recite the wrathful mantra. Cutting the boundaries: Hum! I am naturally wrathful from the beginning, the wrathful one cutting the boundaries fills the sky, may no one cross the boundaries of the wrathful one who subdues obstacles! Om Ah Hum Hrih Guru Deva Dakini Vajra Krodha Raksha Raksha Hum Phat! Blessing the offerings: Ram Yam Kham, from the pure nature of the dharmadhatu, the spontaneously arising heaps of offerings are, Samantabhadra's offerings.

Like clouds, the immeasurable sky is filled. Oṃ Mahā Sarva Pūjā Amṛta Rakta Baliṃta Āḥ Hūṃ. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་མ་ཧཱ་སརྦ་པཱུ་ཛ་ཨ་མྲྀཏ་རཀྟ་བ་ལིཾ་ཏ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ महा सर्व पूजा अमृत रक्त बलिन्त आः हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ mahā sarva pūjā amṛta rakta baliṃta āḥ hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om, great, all, offering, nectar, blood, offering, ah, hum.) Secondly, the actual practice is divided into the three yogas of generation, recitation, and completion. The first is the generation stage, contemplating the mandala of the samaya deity: Hūṃ! The unaltered, luminous sound of suchness, the magical display of impartial compassion, a blue Hūṃ. (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Hūṃ.) Through the play of awareness, purify the container and its contents into emptiness. From within emptiness, like a rainbow in the sky, arise the Vajra Mount Meru in successive layers, the indivisible protective circle, in the center of the immeasurable charnel ground palace, on a lotus and sun mandala of various kinds, the four maras, arrogant ones, planets, nāgas, gyalpos, and demons, etc., tremble and submit upon the crossed binding. From the awareness Hūṃ, the self becomes the root deity, the wrathful king Drobo Lod, a vidyādhara's emanation, Yaksha Kāla, the great glorious Hayagrīva. The color of his body is like a turbulent storm cloud at the end of time. His mouth is open, fangs bared, three eyes are red and round. His beard, eyebrows, and hair blaze like fire. His brow is fiercely furrowed, his tongue is curled, and he roars the sound of Hūṃ. He wears a black silk cloak and is adorned with charnel ground ornaments. His right hand holds an iron vajra with nine points, a threatening mudra pointing into the expanse of the sky. From its tip, the enemy who subdues the malice of nāgas and demons, the wisdom garuda, dark blue and speckled, radiates. From his left hand, which raises a phurba of Mount Meru, the Vajrakīlaya who subdues obstacles and demons. (Tibetan: བཛྲ་ཀཱི་ལ་ཡ, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्र कीलाय, Sanskrit Romanization: vajra kīlāya, Literal Chinese Meaning: Vajra Kīlaya.) The swirling green-black phurba whirls like a storm. The green, radiant horse head on his crown shakes and trembles all the realms of the world. In the center of the red, blazing, fiery bindu of his mane, on a lotus and sun seat, is the supreme deity who counteracts untimely death, the Bhagavan Amitāyus. He arises in wrathful form as Padmā Heruka. His right hand holds a red lotus, gathering the essence of life. His left hand holds a long-life vase, bestowing accomplishment in practice. He is adorned with silk, jewels, and bone ornaments. His own light embraces his consort, and he sits in the vajra posture. At his heart, on a lotus and sun seat, is the wisdom hero, the secret lord, the slayer of nāgas, Vajrapāṇi, dark blue, complete with wrathful attire, the self-arisen awareness, clear as a radiant light body. The self is the slayer of gyalpos, demons, oath-breakers, and bhūtas. His two feet are in a standing posture, amidst a raging fire. Emanating and gathering the emanations of countless wrathful deities. Thus, visualize the assembly of deities clearly.
