Methods for identifying inflammation: Generally, there are many symptoms, but the special symptoms are: repeatedly recite the life mantra of the Garuda, feed the mantra water to the patient, and then have him spit it out, the patient's complexion will change, eyes will turn red, hair will stand on end, pulse will be tense, breathing will be uneven, thumb will twitch, the life vein will beat violently or swell, and blisters and wounds will appear, etc. There are two treatment methods: treat severe hot diseases with strong hot medicines, and treat cold diseases with cool medicines. First, administer the three hero medicines: one part of aconite, five parts of *Wikstroemia viridiflora*, five parts of *Terminalia chebula*, mix them and make pills the size of peas, and administer five or seven parts, which can kill the disease. If lymphadenopathy occurs, bandage it externally with three black medicines, and mix fresh feces of dogs, humans, yaks, or cows and apply it. Block with snuff, and fumigate the swollen nostrils with fire. If boils and pain appear, Treat with eight weapons: one part of *Wikstroemia viridiflora*, three parts of *Polygonum viviparum*, three parts of fish meat, four parts of tiger meat, half a part of *Aconitum ferox*, half a part of *Ajuga*, four parts of lymph node poison, one part of musk, mix with urine and administer. If boils appear externally, fumigate with steam and incense, use the feces of three animals: pigs, wolves, and dogs, *Clematis tangutica* and cow dung, soak in men's urine, and fumigate the location of the boils. If the body's nutrients are weak, then perform a nourishing ritual: cook fresh meat and administer it, there is no harm in doing so. If blisters appear, bind with ash: poisonous sores, mercury oxide, musk, molasses, or mix with cow's milk and apply, and destroy with the antidote mantra. In general, self-recitation is very important: during the retreat period of the Black Garuda, practice without deviating. The above are the methods of treatment when illness occurs. Now, if a great plague occurs in the area, or if a great epidemic occurs, the protection ritual is: visualize yourself clearly as the Karma Black Garuda, recite the root mantra and the Karma mantra, and fumigate with the smoke of eight substances: guggul, Tibetan butter, rock candy, garlic, wolfsbane, black lichen, costus root, and madder. Clearly visualize the Garuda, and drive away with the corpse mantra, throwing all the plagues to other places. Then circumambulate the protection chamber, visualize yourself as the Karma Black Garuda, and think that it will protect you. In this way, if the fierce mantra of the Garuda is complete and its power reaches its limit, it will be able to protect against diseases and epidemics, as well as plagues and things that harm the lives of sentient beings, and it will be able to avert and destroy them. Furthermore, if the plague epidemic persists for a long time, and reciting mantras and taking medicine for a long time has no effect, then dissolve a piece of molasses in water, take it on an empty stomach, and then administer a purgative and mantra water.
