Manjushri. Guru Padmasambhava said: In the degenerate age, a pure descendant of Lhase Muchi Tsenpo will appear in Mang-yul Gungthang. To protect and avert demonic interferences for him, I bury it as treasure in Bragto Phye Pungpa. If the treasure dharma is not encountered and is interfered with by demons, the happiness of Tibet will come to an end. To protect it, and for the followers of those responsible for extracting the treasure, and to protect the future royal descendants from demonic interferences, this sadhana called "The Burning Wheel" is buried in Yompo Lung of Lha-gyang. Gya gya gya. Kha tam. In the Indian language: Cakra Jvala Nopi Ka Nama. In Tibetan: The Sadhana Called "The Burning Wheel." I prostrate to all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Thus I have heard at one time: The Bhagavan was seated on the Vajra Throne, subduing the demons. At that time, the Vidyadharas and Bodhisattvas asked: Bhagavan, when we Vidyadharas practice, if there are many enemies and demons who create obstacles, what should we do? The Bhagavan replied: There is a mantra and sadhana called "The Burning Wheel." Receive it! Possess it! Read it! Remember it! Just reciting this mantra will conquer all the demons. You will conquer all the demons and become fearless. The mantra is as follows: ༼༡ ཨོཾ་དྷུ་རུ་དྷུ་རུ་ཙཀྲ༔ (Tibetan) Oṃ dhuru dhuru cakra. Ya Sa La Ya Chakra, the wheel that presses down and presses down. (10) Na Sha Ya Na Sha Ya Chakra, the wheel that decays and decays. (11) Bam Bam Chakra, the wheel that is moist and wet. (12) Hūṃ Hūṃ Phaṭ Phaṭ Samanta Gīra Chakra (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ་ཧཱུྃ་ཕཊ་ཕཊ་ས་མནྟ་གཱི་ར་ཙཀྲ, Devanagari: हूं हूं फट् फट् समन्त गीर चक्र, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ phaṭ samanta gīra cakra, Literal Meaning: Hūṃ Hūṃ Phaṭ Phaṭ Samanta Gīra Wheel), the wheel that completely reverses. (13) Tīpta Chakra Hūṃ Phaṭ (Tibetan: ཏཱིཔྟ་ཙཀྲ་ཧཱུྃ་ཕཊ, Devanagari: तीप्त चक्र हूं फट्, Romanized Sanskrit: tīpta cakra hūṃ phaṭ, Literal Meaning: Tīpta Wheel Hūṃ Phaṭ), the wheel of weapons. Just by reciting this mantra, fierce evil spirits will not hate, and one will be liberated from the evil of all dying appearances. Having said this, the assembly of vidyādharas and bodhisattvas rejoiced and praised the words of the Blessed One. Recite the mantra over vermillion and white guggul, then fumigate with smoke. Recite over white mustard seeds and scatter them on the face. Recite one hundred and eight times over a five-colored thread and place it around the neck. Recite over butter and apply it to the body. With this mantra, all phurkas and expulsions will be reversed. The ritual for this is: Make a white stupa one cubit high. Inside its vase, grind precious stones with kham-sa soil, create an image of what is to be protected, write the name on its heart. Above it, contemplate a four-spoked wheel. Visualize that the stupa appears from the invisible, like the Blessed One Buddha with a body the color of refined gold, holding a vajra in his right hand, making the earth-pressing mudra, and holding a begging bowl in his left hand in the samadhi mudra, and contemplate the one to be protected inside it, and contemplate the body filling the Brahma world, and from its heart, Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Meaning: Hūṃ) radiates, and in front, on the lotus, the wrathful one, Smoky One, with a staff, destroys or commands all obstacles. The recitation is one hundred thousand times. The secret instruction for subduing evil spirits, called "The Blazing Wheel," is complete. I, Orgyen Padmasambhava, have placed this terminator of reversing evil spirits for the sake of the King of Gungtang. May it meet with a karmically connected one. Samaya. Seal, seal, seal. From Yönpo Lung in Ru Lak Jang, the hermit incarnation Zangpo Drakpa retrieved it from the treasure and gave it to the vidyadhara with the swiftness of a garuda. ༈ །།The arrangement, setting up, recitation, contemplation, and visualization of the Blazing Wheel of Reversal, and the order of recitation are present. Guru Padmasiddhi Hūṃ. There are two ways to perform the ritual of overcoming evil spirits through the door of the Blazing Wheel of Reversal: with elaborate reliance on a stupa and without elaborate samadhi.
