For those who travel far, this is a method to pacify obstacles on the road and to arrive safely. No matter where you are, it is the most supreme way to pacify all the close harms of enemies, robbers, thieves, the punishment of the king, innocent slanders, internal and external conflicts, and interpersonal disputes. There are many lineages of this practice, both new and old, but this is a Mind Treasure lineage, and because the lineage is close, it is very sharp. Next is its empowerment: Recite the second half of this prayer. All Buddhas of the three times, and the goddess Mother of Light, I pray, grant empowerment. Three times. Then recite the second half of this: I take refuge in the Three Jewels, I confess all sins and non-virtues separately, I rejoice in the virtues of sentient beings, I hold the Buddha's enlightenment in my mind, I take refuge in the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha until enlightenment. In order to accomplish the benefit of both self and others, I generate the supreme Bodhicitta.
