She then told the chapter on alchemical compounding to the Rakshasa Vidyadhara, the wise and skillful one. To the heretic Dhana Raksha, it was said to rely on the three external substances, and it was prophesied that alchemical compounding exists in the land of the Rakshasas. Therefore, Dhana Raksha went to the land of the Rakshasa Ravana with ten faces and requested it. As a vow for accomplishing this Fierce Covenant: It is very important for the learned, those with view and realization, those who entrust their minds to the Dharma with faith and have received empowerment, to protect the vows without breaking them! Begin the practice at an auspicious time with good stars! One must complete three hundred thousand recitations of the deity's mantra. It is not permissible to open it carelessly! It can only be opened when the teachings are on the verge of destruction! Samaya! Gya Gya Gya! I, Orgyen Padmasambhava, having traversed through eighteen regions and sought all fierce and evil mantras, this particularly supreme Fierce Covenant, from the Nepalese corpse-eating skull garland wearer and the heretic Dhana Raksha, was requested after enduring hardship. From the great tantra of Nepal, this contemplation of the ninth chapter, because it is a Fierce Covenant, was taken separately. Because this evil mantra has come to Tibet, it is concealed as a treasure until the time is right. On the third day of the first winter month (Tibetan calendar), it was written down in the early morning. The evil teacher and the scribe, having copied it, hid them separately. A complete copy was written down. It was hidden in the middle of Zangzang Lhadrak. When in the future the teachings are in decline, and the merit of doing good deeds has waned, there will be internal strife that destroys the Fierce (Covenant). At that time, may this treasure be discovered! When a fortunate one encounters this, may the teachings abide for a long time! Possessing the curved feather of the Vidyadhara Garuda, open the black iron box, there are a hundred fierce mantras for subduing the ten directions, like weapons, like poison, like lightning. Do not be distracted, practice diligently, when signs appear, with wealth and a strong backing, it will be enough to support the burden of prosperity and fame. May the two monastic communities flourish! Build many temples and scriptures, establish the example of Dharma and virtuous conduct, turn back retinue, protectors, enemies, and obstacles, subdue demons, pacify wars, and extend the Buddha's teachings to abide for a long time. Look to the black iron box for methods. Thus it was said. The Nepalese Fierce Covenant is complete. Gya Gya Gya! Damtsig! Sangtrig! Sabtrig! Ah Thi! The obscuring wood of the component parts of the Fierce Covenant resides here! The degenerate age of five hundred, the age of strife.

At the time when war, barbarians, enemies, and thieves flourish, people from the border areas enter the central region to destroy it; when robbers destroy the secluded places, practice this secret of the invisibility technique. There are three kinds of essential instructions for this: concealing the area and concealing oneself, hiding precious possessions, and protecting against enemies and thieves. First, concealing the area: recite this mantra one thousand and one times on the feathers of an owl and the fur of a black cat, and the feathers of a crow, and then wear it on your body. Namo Rudrāya Hūṃ Ri Mi Ri Svāhā (Tibetan: ན་མོ་རུ་ཏྲ་ཡ་ཧཾ་རི་མི་རི་སྭཱ་ཧཱ༔, Sanskrit Devanagari: नमो रुद्राय हुं रि मि रि स्वाहा, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: Namo Rudrāya Hūṃ Ri Mi Ri Svāhā, Literal Chinese meaning: Homage to Rudra, Hūṃ Ri Mi Ri Svāhā). Then the entire area, even if filled with armies, will not be seen. If you want to protect yourself, take four finger-lengths of thatch grass, recite this mantra one thousand times, and insert it behind your right ear, then gods, demons, and humans, no enemy will be able to see you. If you want to protect your possessions from enemies, thieves, and robbers, take two human galls and black bone ash, place them among the possessions, recite the mantra one thousand times, and hide them in a secluded place, and you will be able to avoid the fear of enemies and thieves. If you do not make good landmarks when hiding, you may not be able to find it yourself, and the reputation of the invisibility technique may be revealed. Therefore, generate faith and arrange the auspicious connections. Ati (Tibetan: ཨྠྀི༔), Samaya (Tibetan: ས་མ་ཡཱ༔), Gya Gya Gya (Tibetan: རྒྱ་རྒྱ་རྒྱ༔), Secret Seal (Tibetan: གསང་རྒྱ༔), Vow Seal (Tibetan: དམ་རྒྱའོ༔).
