As for the substances: ox-gallstone and black agarwood, poison musk and black calamus, guggul, gentian and black mica, mixed with Chinese ink should be written. After being bound with black thread, it should always be worn on the body. When the nine are assembled together, firstly, it becomes the protector of the earth deity; secondly, it destroys the demons of the nagas; thirdly, it eliminates the venomous poison of virulent diseases; fourthly, it is said to be able to resist epidemics; fifthly, it is able to resist all blackpox; sixthly, it protects against intestinal fever and red dysentery; seventhly, it is able to resist cotton disease, colds and epidemics; eighthly, it protects against bile reflux; ninthly, it is able to resist all demonic diseases; tenthly, it protects against eighteen kinds of children's demonic diseases.
