I, like poplar trees, use pegs made of fierce trees. The pegs should be at least five fingers long and held with two tight knots and three sharp corners. Make ten of any thickness. Write this mantra on the sharp part: Oṃ Vajra Kīli Kīlāya Vimala Rāzani, Mahā Krodhani, Bija Krodhani Bandha, Hana Hana Hūṃ Phaṭ (藏文：ཨཱོྃ་བཛྲ་ཀཱི་ལི་ཀཱི་ལ་ཡ་བི་མ་ལ་རཱ་ཙ་ནི，梵文天城体：ॐ वज्र कीलि कीलाय विमल राजानि，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ vajra kīli kīlāya vimala rājāni，汉语字面意思：嗡，金刚，橛，橛呀，无垢，国王), Mahā Krodhani, Bija Krodhani Bandha, Hana Hana Hūṃ Phaṭ. Write these five on the pegs. Write the three syllables once each on the others. On the center of the mandala or on the platform, place ten pegs on a bre of barley. Place them completely in all directions, above and below. Place five pegs in the center and in the four directions. Meditate on the center as Vajra Dragpo Tsal, and on the four directions as Akshobhya, Ratnasambhava, Amitābha, and Amoghasiddhi. Recite the Hūṃ (藏文：ཧཱུྃ，梵文天城体：हुं，梵文罗马拟音：hūṃ，汉语字面意思：吽) accomplishment peg mantra and others.
