Offering and Incense to the Five Guardian Deities, Increasing Like the Waxing Moon. Karma Ngagwang Yonten Gyatso. Offering and Incense to the Five Guardian Deities, Increasing Like the Waxing Moon. Karma Ngagwang Yonten Gyatso. This is the "Offering and Incense to the Five Guardian Deities, Increasing Like the Waxing Moon." Homage to the Three Roots. If the five guardian deities, born together like body and shadow, are strong, then whatever activities of Dharma and worldly affairs, all wishes will be fulfilled as desired, and obstacles will not arise. If they are separate, then activities will not go smoothly and there will be many obstacles, so it is best to establish them as auspicious supports and hold them as sources of refuge. Even if that is not possible, it is very good if at least regular offerings are made. The extensive arrangements for supports, mandalas, offerings, etc., are explained in the treasures of Grawon and Chowing, etc., and in the Fifth Dalai Lama's ritual arrangements, etc. Here, I will write down a simple practice. Since it is a common support for war gods, it is good to have a spear banner with images of the five deities painted on it, and to hang tiger and leopard skins, silks, conch shells, mirrors, drums, paints, armor, shields, etc. If it is just a regular offering, it is okay not to have them. The offering torma should be placed in a clean vessel. Place round food offerings, "འབྲང་རྒྱས་རྩེ་རྒྱལ" (unconfirmed, to be checked), and all three of yak, sheep, and goat, all white. For the war god, place a red triangular torma. Fill it with silks, jewels, grains, etc. Arrange tea, alcohol, fresh milk, roasted barley flour, and other offerings as available. If offering tormas are not available, even just roasted barley flour and golden drink are sufficient for regular offerings. Visualize yourself as any chosen deity and sprinkle water on the offerings. Om, Amrita, Hum, Phat (藏文:ཨོཾ་ཨ་མྲྀཏེ་ཧཱུྃ་ཕཊ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ amṛte hūṃ phaṭ,汉语字面意思:Om, Ambrosia, Hum, Phat). Om, purity of nature, all dharmas, purity of nature I). Purify the stains of clinging to characteristics into emptiness. From within emptiness, in a vast and spacious jeweled vessel, the offering tormas arising from Om Ah Hum Om Ah Hum), their essence is the nectar of uncontaminated wisdom, their form is the enjoyment of whatever is needed and desired, transformed into a great inexhaustible treasure. Homage to all Tathagatas, all Buddhas, filling the sky with all offerings, may this offering spread throughout the sky). Bless them three times with the mudra and with Om Ah Hum Om Ah Hum). Then, if there are supports and offering tormas, recite this generation sequence. If there are none, and it is just a regular ritual, then abandon the generation sequence and proceed to the invocation. The generation sequence is: Incense.
