Striking the eyes, ears, noses, crowns of the head, throats, and hearts of all beings, crushing them like particles of dust, visualize that even their names vanish without a trace. Homage! By the truth of the words of the glorious and holy root and lineage lamas, by the truth of the Buddha, Dharma, Sangha, by the truth of the deities of the mandala of yidams, by the truth of the Dharma protectors and guardians, by the truth of the Dharmadhatu being completely pure and the infallible cause and effect of conventional reality, by the truth of my mind being completely pure, and by the blessings of the great truth, may all the early enemies that harm the life, activities, and enlightened activities of the glorious and holy lama so-and-so be turned back upon the enemy! And so on. Or, may all the early enemies that harm me and the patrons of generosity and their retinues be turned back upon the enemy! May all the thoughts of external enemies be turned back upon the enemy! May all the fears of enemies and thieves be turned back upon the enemy! May all slander and disputes be turned back upon the enemy! May all gossip and malicious accusations be turned back upon the enemy! May all evil thoughts be turned back upon the enemy! May all harsh actions be turned back upon the enemy! May all negative and disharmonious biases be turned back upon the enemy! MĀRAYA PHAṬ! (མཱ་ར་ཡ་ཕཊ།，梵文天城体：मारय फट，梵文罗马拟音：māraya phaṭ，Destroy!). Saying this, clap your hands each time the word "turn back" occurs. If you want to increase the number of repetitions, repeat the previous phrases. Finally, throw the torma, along with the substances of slander, towards the enemy. Visualize the protective circle according to whichever yidam you are practicing, and then dedicate the merit, make aspirations, and offer auspicious wishes. By doing this, there is no doubt that untimely death, curses, spells, slander, and gossip will be averted. In the original old text, it says that in the case of the black (torma), one should visualize the deity and the black nectar letters. The colors of the other two (tormas) are not mentioned. The master of mantra holders said that in the case of the white (torma), one should visualize oneself as white Shakyamuni Buddha.
