Auspiciously Arising Cleansing Ritual with Abundant Torma Offerings, Spontaneously Accomplishing Activities. Auspiciously Arising Cleansing Ritual with Abundant Torma Offerings, Spontaneously Accomplishing Activities. Auspiciously Arising Cleansing Ritual with Abundant Torma Offerings is Presented. Homage to Orgyen Padmasambhava! This torma offering has five meanings: The author is the master Padmasambhava, who has attained supreme and common accomplishments. Where was it made? It was made at Drakmar (བྲག་དམར་, meaning Red Rock) Glorious Samye. For what purpose was it made? It was made to fulfill the vow and intention of the former king, and to accomplish the desires of future yogis. How does benefit arise? All desires, such as traversing paths, will be accomplished. What is shown in reality is divided into three parts: preliminary, main part, and concluding part. First, the preliminary steps, first is the preparation: In a clean place such as a mountaintop, rooftop, or riverside, in front of the support where flags and banners are erected, on a clean white cloth, white felt, or immaculate white cotton seat, draw the swastika symbol of grains. Around the arrangement of many torma mounds, offer many kinds of offerings such as washing water and incense, as well as: the glorious torma for the general Three Jewels; the triangular red torma for the general Dharma Protectors; the round white torma for the general Six Realms; the white torma for the general local deities and land spirits; and the red torma for the obstructing torma of the general elemental spirits, these five tormas. Arrange one or six effigy tormas. Around it, arrange representations of horses, mules, dzos, yaks, wild yaks, deer, sheep, goats, tigers, leopards, bears, brown bears, black birds, black pigs, black dogs, snakes, turtles, great toads, frogs, tadpoles, fish and conch shells, golden measures, silver measures, copper coins, and the implements of the effigy torma. On a clean plate, arrange as much as possible of the three white and three sweet foods. Arrange pure alcohol mixed with powders of the five precious substances. In the center in front of it, arrange a clean cleansing offering smeared with butter, surrounded by food. To its right, arrange a row of alcohol cups, and to its left, arrange a container of water mixed with fragrant substances and precious powders. To the right of all, arrange a fire of wooden sticks and a container filled with butter. In all directions, erect silk cloths, banners, arrow banners, and various kinds of flags. Surround it with musical instruments such as drums, conch shells, and cymbals.

Among them, approaching the incense offering, arranging the incense utensils, etc., the second is taking refuge: In the sky in front of oneself, the Guru, Yidam, Dakini, Buddha, Bodhisattva assembly, etc., appear like dense clouds. The place of the sky is filled with the sky, the Guru, Yidam, Dakini assembly, etc., the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha of the Noble Ones, I and the six realms of beings respectfully take refuge. Recite three times. The third is generating the mind of enlightenment: the common and the supreme two, first is: Just as the Sugatas of the past, for the benefit of all sentient beings, generated the mind of enlightenment, similarly, for the benefit of sentient beings, I also generate the mind of enlightenment, liberate those who have not been liberated, release those who have not been released, liberate those who have not been liberated, and settle sentient beings in Nirvana. Recite three times. The second is: I and infinite sentient beings, are originally Buddhas, in this nature of knowing as it is, generate the supreme mind of enlightenment. Recite three times. The fourth is taking the vows of the unsurpassed secret mantra: Just as the Buddhas and Buddha-sons of the past, and the assembly of Vidyadharas and Dakinis like the ocean, have taken the outer, inner, secret, supreme vows and the infinite ocean of vows, from now on I also enter this great path, for the benefit of sentient beings, take them all without exception. Recite three times. Then the fifth is blessing the offerings: Sprinkle incense water with kusha grass, OM AH VIGHNANTAKA RITA HUM PHAT (Tibetan, Devanagari: , Romanized Sanskrit: , Literal Chinese meaning: ). OM SVABHAVA SHUDDHAH SARVA DHARMAH SVABHAVA SHUDDHO 'HAM (Tibetan, Devanagari: , Romanized Sanskrit: , Literal Chinese meaning: ). The faults of the offering substances do not appear, and transform into emptiness. From the state of emptiness, from the syllable OM, arise vast and boundless precious vessels, in which OM AH HUM transform into light, from which arise offering water, foot-washing water, flowers, incense, light, perfume, food, musical instruments, etc., pure and unobstructed, generating stainless, special bliss, becoming equal to the sky. OM VAJRA ARGHAM AH HUM (Tibetan, Devanagari: , Romanized Sanskrit: , Literal Chinese meaning: ). OM VAJRA PADYAM AH HUM (Tibetan, Devanagari: , Romanized Sanskrit: , Literal Chinese meaning: ). OM VAJRA PUSHPE (Tibetan, Devanagari: , Romanized Sanskrit: , Literal Chinese meaning: ). OM VAJRA DHUPE (Tibetan, Devanagari: , Romanized Sanskrit: , Literal Chinese meaning: ). OM VAJRA ALOKE (Tibetan, Devanagari: , Romanized Sanskrit: , Literal Chinese meaning: ). OM VAJRA GANDHE (Tibetan, Devanagari: , Romanized Sanskrit: , Literal Chinese meaning: ). OM VAJRA NAIVEDYA (Tibetan, Devanagari: , Romanized Sanskrit: , Literal Chinese meaning: ). OM VAJRA SHABDA AH HUM (Tibetan, Devanagari: , Romanized Sanskrit: , Literal Chinese meaning: ). Then bless the three: medicine, alcohol, and torma: OM
