Bdar cig! May the sun and moon not fall to the plain! May hail not fall in summer! May storms not rage in winter! May hailstones like horses not run! May fierce yakshas not shoot hail like arrows! May sickness and death not befall people! May disaster and madness not befall wealth! May rust, frost, and hail not befall the fields! May human and livestock diseases be pacified! May epidemics and plagues be pacified! Cut the black noose of the demon! Turn Yama's judgment against the enemy! Move the dice of the Tsen spirit against the enemy! Send the blood disease of the Mamo to the enemy! Pacify the madness of the king! Turn away the god-disease that rises like the sun! Turn away the Naga-disease that thickens like clouds! Turn away the demon-disease that darkens like darkness! Turn away the planet-disease that boils like water! Turn away the disease that coils around the body like a snake! At the edge of the east, do not sharpen the copper bull's tiger-striped horns! Fierce hand gestures, and so on. Above the thirteen layers of the sky, do not let the red Garuda flap its wings! Do not let the crystal white horse shake its mane! Do not let the black bear stretch its paws! Do not let the Tsen god's deer king shake its back! Do not let the white fish wag its tail! Do not let the white graveyard pig snort! Do not let the black graveyard pig dig a pit! May the five demons not rise from the directions! Do not let the upper bird screech at the lower! Do not let the upper dog bite the lower! Do not let the upper horse neigh at the lower! Do not let the upper person quarrel with the lower! Beneath the nine layers of the earth, do not let the black graveyard pig groan! Do not dig the black graveyard pit! Do not open the earth gate, the graveyard gate! Do not send disease and death! Do not send sudden fright! Do not send hail and lightning! Do not send blight, frost, and famine! Do not let the sky iron thunderbolt fall! Today, in the sky of sentient existence, transform into a state of great peace of appearance and existence! May it abide in a state of peace and well-being! May the gods and demons of appearance and existence awaken from the delusion of ignorance, and from the self-arisen discriminating wisdom, may they attain the fruit of Buddhahood! May it abide in a state of auspiciousness and well-being! This is the smoke offering spoken by Orgyen Rinpoche, called "The Cloud of Nectar, Rain of Wishes, of Heaven, Earth, Appearance, and Eight," which pleases the earth lords, nagas, and nyen spirits.
