Fresh and straight sprouts, one finger long, smeared with fragrance, with both tips coated with honey and butter, in an appropriate quantity, along with black sesame seeds, yogurt residue, unhulled rice, awnless barley, barley, beans (Sanskrit Devanagari: माष, Sanskrit Romanization: māṣa, Chinese literal meaning: mung bean), wheat, durva grass, and kusha grass smeared with butter, arranged in two tiers: worldly and transcendental. Inside these, there are two tiers of offerings to the fire god and his retinue, along with torma offerings. Furthermore, double cloths, lime, fans, fire-making tools, firewood, and butter are also arranged. In front, place the karma vase, the inner offering skull cup, the vajra bell, the damaru, flowers, filling and pouring vessels, and also place a fire screen. Fourth, entering the ritual: the master, with a mind full of loving-kindness and compassion, bathes and anoints the body with fragrant scents. He wears white robes and adorns himself with ornaments such as the crown, and sits on a soft and comfortable cushion facing east, pressing down with his left and right hands. He lowers his knees and sits in the lotus posture, and then begins the fire offering ritual. Second, the main part includes the preliminary rituals, first offering to the worldly fire god, then offering to the transcendental deities, and finally offering to the worldly gods, in four parts. In the preliminary sequence, one performs self-generation, holds the vajra bell, blesses the substances, lights the fire, and spreads the kusha grass. First, when related to mandala construction and offering, consecration, empowerment, etc., it should be done according to the respective circumstances. If it is unrelated, then after the self-generation recitation is completed, gather the yoga and practice the karma vase with the pride of the main deity, or if not practicing, then bless the cleansing water placed on the left with mantras. Second, holding the vajra bell: then stop other speech and fully open the palms of the hands in the lotus mudra, visualizing the sun and moon in the left and right hands, and rotate five times. The vajra is the skillful means of the main deity, and the bell is the nature of the wisdom of the mother, both of which are the nature of ultimate bodhicitta. Firmly believe in this. Hold the vajra with "Om Maha Vajra Hum (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་མ་ཧཱ་བཛྲ་ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ महावज्र हुम्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ mahāvajra hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om, Great Vajra, Hum)" and hold the bell with "Om Vajra Ghante Ah Hum (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་གཎྜེ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ वज्र घण्टे आः हुम्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ vajra ghaṇṭe āḥ hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om, Vajra Bell, Ah, Hum)". Make the embracing mudra. Recite "Om Sarva Tathagata Maha Anuragana Vajra Svabhava Atma Ko'ham (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་སརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་མ་ཧཱ་ཨ་ནུ་རཱ་ག་ཎ་བཛྲ་སྭ་བྷཱ་ཝ་ཨཱཏྨ་ཀོ྅་ཧཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ सर्व तथागत महा अनुरग णा वज्र स्वभाव आत्माकोऽहम्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ sarva tathāgata mahā anurāgaṇa vajra svabhāva ātmako'haṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om, all Tathagatas, great, love, Vajra, nature, I am)", and remember the three samayas.

Then, consecrating the substances: Take water from the vessel of incense water with a Kusha scattering fan, recite the action mantra, and circle the stove and the substances to be burned, oneself, and all the pouring vessels from left to right with incense water, then purify and generate the offerings, and consecrate them. Then, sprinkle the substances with the five elixirs and touch them with the one-pointed vajra mudra. Om, Accomplishment) and think that the substances are washed clean. With that same mudra, recite Om Ah Svaha Om, Ah, Accomplishment) for the poplar wood. Om, Auspiciousness, Accomplishment) for the clarified butter. Purify all the impure faults of the substances and make them empty. From emptiness, visualize the substances arising from the first letter of their respective names, adorned with bindus, possessing the essence of nectar, complete with all characteristics, and endowed with the power to accomplish their respective actions without hindrance. Recite the substance mantras such as Om Agnaye Svaha Om, Fire God, Accomplishment) three times each to consecrate them. Fourth, kindling the fire: Place the fire from the rubbing wood of the monastery, etc., which is in accordance with the action, in a vessel with three letters. Kindle the fire of clarified butter with the action mantra. When it is burning, recite the action mantra and sprinkle incense water three times clockwise. Then, place a clean and dry bundle of grass roots in the stove without smoke. Om, Blaze, Blaze, Hum) and Hum. This Kusha grass is pure and virtuous, it is the purifier of Brahma and the gods. It is what pleases the Three Jewels, it is the heart of the lotus born from the earth. I pray that it pacifies all my obstacles and brings auspiciousness. After reciting Svaha (藏文:སྭཱ་ཧཱ་,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:svāhā,汉语字面意思:Accomplishment), spread the Kusha grass in pairs with the tips aligned, facing east, south, west, and north at the opening of the stove on the left side of the practitioner, with the tips of the back ones pressing down on the roots of the front ones. Again, cover the stove with Kusha grass with the tips facing east, like the ears of a cow, not too long.
