Namo Guru Deva Dakini Dharmapala ya (Tibetan: ན་མོ་གུ་རུ་དེ་བ་ཌཱ་ཀི་ནཱི་དྷརྨ་པཱ་ལ་ཡ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: नमो गुरु देव डाकिनी धर्म पालय, Sanskrit Romanization: Namo guru deva ḍākinī dharma pālay, Literal Chinese meaning: Homage to Guru Deva Dakini Dharma Protector). In the primordial realm, the wisdom power is perfected, uniting samsara and nirvana into one life. Guru Heruka, the glorious secret three, dwells in the three doors of bindu and blesses. Blissful, clear, non-conceptual wisdom in the three poisons, the self-radiance of the three lineages, the arrogant ones, those who listen to the vows and hold the lineage, please consider them with affection and grant permission to explain the secrets. Wherever Dharma protectors are, the sound of drums alone fills the monasteries. It is rare to find those who practice the vows and substances properly. Even those who have faith lack the ability to do what is necessary. For the benefit of such people, I will write a profound and concise practice. Also, for the practice of the Three Roots Dharma Protectors, the main thing is to cherish the purity of the vows and the stability of samadhi as if they were life itself. However, as for the specifics of the vows, it is said that it is necessary to hold the vow substances represented by the supports of body, speech, and mind, such as written images, scriptures, and bandhas, etc., as extensively explained in the tantras, texts, and instructions of both the new and old traditions. In particular, it is said that when the Dharma Protectors gather supports such as life wheels and soul stones, they naturally gather like flies on rotten meat. There are also distinctions between outer supports, inner supports, and secret supports, as well as many explanations of practice substances, fulfillment substances, and offering substances. Here, for the practitioners who have become indispensable supports, I will briefly explain the practice of life wheels and soul stones in four parts: the supports and life wheels of the Three Roots in general, the specific methods of writing the life wheels of the Dharma Protectors, the practice of establishing soul stones, and the explanation of the method of consecration. In the first part, there are many different and distinct methods of establishing life wheels in the Guru practices of the Lama.
